There is so much to life that is momentary and ephemeral. Spring crocuses pop their tiny green heads through the barely defrosted ground with the bravado of a neophyte matador, only to wither away mere weeks later to make way for the warmer weather flowers. Life itself is fleeting; how many times have you uttered the phrase, "this week went by so fast!"? and just like that, the weeks turn into years turn into decades and children and marriage and death and at one point we're all of a sudden (because it always hits you that abruptly) just sitting and staring into the twist and whirl of yet another blustery nostalgic autumn afternoon, and wondering where in the world life went.
I say take it by the balls, and grip firmly. Embrace every last crazy moment of it all. Laugh at the insanity of another hectic day and take time to breathe deeply. This too shall pass, and noone can tell me for certain if that is a good thing or a bad one. Because at the end of it all, no matter how gruesome or pristine of a time we've had, the weeks will still go by fast as can be, and we'll still be sitting there, scratching our heads, wondering where in the world all the time has gone.
I know Lego already did a similar model in 6 wide, but this is built using many of the techniques from the newer model. This is a rebuild of the Speed Champion Dodge Charger released in 2022 and re-uses many of the parts from the official set. There are 85 additional parts required and are of them are pretty common. It should cost under $10 to acquire the addition pieces if you don't have any bricks to pull from. I included inventories for the model with and without the parts form the original vehicle.

Eleven images in this batch... I'm testing out a bunch of new Lightroom processes and techniques.
Got a favorite? I welcome the feedback as I hone some of these up a bit.
Dominic Toretto's 1968 Dodge "Ice" Charger from the 8th film in the Fast and the Furios franchise "Fate of the Furious". I featured a custom widebody kit and a rear mounted jet turbine engine.
I first started on this build six years ago and it got set on the back burner as other projects took priority. I finally decided that it was time to stop tripping over a half finished MOC.
