I wanted to build another Fast & Furious car and even though it only appears briefly in the movie, Brian's Ford Escort Mk1 is an iconic part of the franchise.

Sometimes, there is a need to drive fast.

Not for pleasure exactly this time, but still, somehow, enjoyable.

I've been on a Fast & Furious kick lately so I built one of the most famous cars from the series!

So Lego decided to introduce another shade of pink.

No, I don't like fleshies, for the simple reason that the choice of faces, and thus the variance of expressions, is so very limited. With Vin Diesel being in yet another shade, I cannot even change his head, because his arms are in the same tone.

I went grocery shopping yesterday, and the shop had the new SC kits for 20€ instead of 25€, so I spontaneously bought the Dodge Charger from... uhm... Slow and Chilled or something like that.

Got special coverage showcasing my HDRs on New York Times yesterday, August 3, 2006. If you have not seen it, then I ask you to check this too. Thanks.

My photo laemmle theatres 7 is one of the fastest achievers. It was viewed more than 4000 times in a single day. Well, the main reason was definitely the exposure I got from New York Times. And this became a sort of a catapult back to Explore Front Page for me. It was rated #1 and also featured on the main Explore Interestingness Page.

Now, going back to the featured photo above ...

Ok, so this is how I took this shot. I spent some time on this bridge, the Colorado Street Bridge of Pasadena, last night. When I arrived at this bridge, I had to find my way how to go exactly to this place since it was my first visit. I found another photographer with a big cam and a big lens. He was with a sweet model in one of the curve spots of the bridge. But eventually, I was left alone with the passing cars & trucks.

It was so fortunate that I was able to capture this scene. I was almost ready to leave after spending more than an hour taking shots after shots of this elegant bridge and surroundings when I saw a big, really humongous bus, approaching me. I was almost blown away by the wind that came with this monster. The bus came out in this picture like a bullet train. The bus driver was smiling and blowing his horn while I was shooting this picture. Originally in color, but I love the effect of this in black and white. I hope you will like it too.

Imagine, I thought I got the best shots before this one. And the last was the first one to be posted.

Let me quote the bible in reference to my reply to gb_fotos and to what I said about being the last:

Matthew 20:16 "So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen."

I built a classic muscle car for your Lego city: Chevy Chevelle!

Vin Diesel is in the car, and he does not intend to go smoothly.

New and improved.

Hej Furry, whut are you fiddling down there?

Changing gear, Baldie!

Leave it alone, that's the handbrake.

So how do I...?

This is an american car. Just let it do the magic!

Ah, okay, I was wondering about the missing clutch pedal.

Two feet, two pedals - easy!

Two brain cells, two political parties - silly.

I have a second brain cell? Who says that?!

A guy called science, Baldie. Maybe you can find someone who can introduce you.

Who cares. Now put the pedal to the metal!

*slamming the brake*

*shriieeek!*

The other one, Furball!

Nay, this one. Get out.

*door slamming*

*Wrooom!*

*shrieking tyres*

*hot rubber on the road*

Damn.

Another lame pun for my Toy Project.

What happens to the Fast and Furious when Bigfoot takes the wheel? The Furry and the fastious. Uhmm, doens't make any sense. Fastidiuos - pingelig. Nagging all the time is never a good idea...

Oh, a word about the picture. I had thought that putting the Dodge on the road and get a decent shot is easy as cake. It's not.

This is probably the last time you'll see my custom Toyota Supra that I made for my three Fast and Furious 7 pictures. Even though you saw this car in my three scenes, I wanted to have some better photos of it all by itself.

I am very proud of this, the only thing that I don't like are the places around the tires. I wish I had those "Tire rim" (Not sure exactly what they are called) pieces in white, but I didn't. Other than that, I think it looks pretty good! When I made this, I looked at a bunch of pictures of the real car, and tried my best to get the look of it down as best as I could. Overall, I really like how It came out, and I hope you guys like/liked it! :)

Words from the witnesses were that this guy on the red Mustang had made a fast and furious turn at the intersection and spun his car into the embankment after knocking down the traffic light as shown in this photo. The driver walked away with minor injuries.

I really love building and designing the 8 stud wide Speed Champion cars, but they look way too big in my city. So I'm downsizing some of my favorites while trying to keep as much detail as possible. I really have had a lot of fun redesigning and building these models and I hope y'all do too!

After finally being able to grab a second copy of the awesome set, I wanted to try my hand at shrinking it down to the classic 6 stud wide Speed Champions scale. I was able to use alot of the connections and building techniques from the original set and was even able to eliminate 8 visible studs from the hood of the vehicle. I used many parts from the original model and would recommend buying the set in order to use the parts to build this MOC. There are also about 70 additional pieces that are needed that should only cost ~$5-7 to buy. I used the stickers from the official set but did have to cut a few of them down.

I really enjoy posting these instructions and love seeing everyone's creativity. If you build one of my MOCs, please consider posting a picture of your version!
