This was my first real big art project.
(2013)
It was for my "Semester Projekt" in the second year of Gymnasium (grammar school), it's kinda like a mini version of the Matura project and it is actually just an exercise in order to get used to work "independently" (although in my case my art teacher was really almost never present during those four hours... at least as far as I remember...). This project is done in your focus class... So I had to do something arty.
I wanted to do something with fashion and since the theme was "Light and Shadow", I just thought: "Mehh, let's make some fashionable lamps, why not."
Later I got inspired by a rose sketch in Arina Tanemura's "Kyoko Time Stranger" and made the lamp in the middle. That's the reason why the whole project has a flower theme ongoing. (Corny theme I know)
It started half-heartedly but towards the end I started to like working on it. (Although those damn batteries almost drove me crazy and you can't lit them for more than 30 seconds, otherwise it starts to smell burnt....)
