Piles old junk by the house! Well, to me it is a bit of country history, from the hand pump for the well to the hand cranked cream separator and all the tools in between. It can bring back memories for a lot of people, some not so pleasant when you think of all the work they did.

I Took this at the Broughtons Wildlife Education area on a wooded trail. I am told that this area was once farms and parcels of privatly owned land, that has now all returned to woods. You can see a lot of old foundations and Items like this scattered about the trails. It looks like some sort of brace or anchor but how it would be used is a real mystery to me.

This pair of earrings was made with tiny tree twigs, copper, turquoise, and natural stone beads. Inspired by an old farm tool around my family's 100 acre farm that my paternal grandparents' owned. These earrings are as beautiful as they are interesting and unique. You won't find too many earrings that look like this. This pair is for sell on my etsy store.
