All the beef is from the owner's farm a few miles away.

Exceptional food! Cool eclectic place.
It's too hot outside to set up this week's CSA share, so I thought I'd lay it all out inside. We already eaten some tomatoes and used the dill, and tonight we ate all of the cherry tomatoes and a few of the heirlooms & chili peppers. Soooo good!

Very good salsa and not spicy at all. The sweetness of Girl & Dug Farm atomic tomatoes is a perfect balance for the spicy habanero peppers.

A Filipino chicken vendor in Cebu enjoys a plate of chicken adobo and rice while surrounded by his own live chickens for sale. The irony of the moment—where the well-fed seller dines while his skinny chickens watch—makes this a powerful street photography image of daily life in the Philippines.
Anson Mills rice middlins with South Carolina clams, local crawfish, catfish stew in smoked Andouille-tomato broth, preserved lemon, spring greens, served with Chapoutier Bila-Haut Rose 2016, Cotes du Roussillon Villages
So I finally ended up makig a pasta dish. This one included some Garlic Ginger and Lemon marinated Chicken along with some Basil Pesto over some multicolored spaghetti noodles. I also included some tomatoes and Basil from my local farm market and my garden for the ultimate in taste and freshness. This really tasted far better than it looked but I was very happy with how the shot came together. For my food portfolio and more, please visit my website at www.fulcrumimaging.com. Copyright 2015
Last CSA share of the season...part 1! We'd already eaten the head of green lettuce and dried the oregano. Any new ideas for mustard greens or bok choi? We've been making curries with the greens & sautéing the bok choi up to this point.

Last CSA share part 2. There's another 2lbs of parsnips where that came from too! Can anyone recommend a good recipe for kale chips?

RIP rooster. You woke me up repeatedly in the morning and during afternoon naps. Finally, you met your end as the centerpiece of a lovely Easter lunch.
Macro shot of a trio of vegetables: 1 fresh cucumber slice and two peppers. The small orange pepper is sliced to reveal the seeds inside so you can see how different they are from the cucumbers!
This week's CSA share from #henrygotcrops was full of greens! Loads more tat soi, cucumbers & lettuce too!

Last CSA share of the season for me. Lots of greens & roots. Any tips on using the daikon or watermelon radishes? I'm all ears!
