Fresh Strawberries just picked from the field. I am so happy I don't have to harvest these for a living , it is truly backbreaking work. The results though are dleicous and these sweet treats can be intergrated into so many recipes. I am hoping to have some time to do some tarts and pies soon. The Historic Stone House has been offering American hospitality under a variety of owners since the doors opened in 1822.
We visited Posada de Campo La Vigna Ecolifestyle near Montevideo, Uruguay for a tour of their farm and a fantastic "farm-to-table" meal accompanied by the artisanal cheeses they make onsite. The setting couldn't have been more idyllic - just like a magazine spread. The chickens were clucking off to one side, and the goats bleating in the nearby field while we sipped local wine.
Market day, sunny day, shopping for late breakfast or early lunch, just a quick shot for Macro Monday themed vegetable.
Nestled in the shadow of towering cliffs, this idyllic farmhouse tells a tale of harmony between human hands and nature’s majesty. The vibrant garden, carefully tended, bursts with life as the mountains stand guard, timeless and unyielding. It is hard to deny the beauty of this part of Italy.
After a day of product shooting I had the light table still set up and these lovely two Garlic bulbs and stems on hand that I picked up at the Brickworks farmer's market last weekend.
