These smudge fans are all large , around 15-20 inches in length. Feathers are :
Turkey, Pheasant, Peacock, Rooster and Goose.

This is a fan blade off a Harrier. Its not a first stage one, they where huge but I will get one some day. I had to own a little bit of a plane lol
A fan in a window in a back alley in Toronto (between Dundas and Shuter). I think it is an exhast fan from a restaurant.
Worker bee which is 'fanning' at the hive entrance, She is exposing the white 'Nasonov gland' near the tip of the abdomen which exudes 'home' pheromone. The hive has been disturbed by my inspection and they are all 'broadcasting' the signal that 'this is home, everything is OK'.
Note that she has one full pollen basket - but she has dropped the other pollen load somewhere.
