If you follow me you know that I detest the People's Republic of (Communist) China.
And so did my late dad. Yet my father didn't mix politics into his collection hobby. At some point I didn't know when or how but he came across this 1949-1979 30th Anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China 22K four-coin set.
Each 22K gold coin contains 0.50 troy ounce of gold content. The four coins depict the seal of Communist China on the obverse side and the following on the reverse side.
1) Tiananmen Square
2) People's Heroes Monument
3) Chairman Mao Memorial Hall
4) Great Hall of the People
Look closely at the gold coins and you will notice that China back in 1979 was not very refined when it came to casting gold coins. The details of the gold coins are quite lacking.
I do not know how coomon this coinset is, or whether it is only worth the two ounces of gold.

fyi: I try to be concious of my daughter's point of view. Meaning my daughter is growing use to a world filled with chunky teenagers spilling over the tops of their jeans, women all having the same piece of shit lower back tattoo, and of course bloated asses wearing unfortunate underwear.
Could be worse, I grew up nextdoor to a guy that murdered two women.

WEEK 15 – Retail Retell and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Photoset
Last but not least, back outside again for – finally – a very good shot of the exterior! This store has a very fancy look, not necessarily because of the design – since that’s the common millennium-build gable – but because of the materials used (which, by the way, matches the rest of the shopping center here). The white Kroger logo really completes the look, in my opinion; and based on this photo, it was only swapped out to this sometime after the 2012 décor remodel took place, so this store featured a regular blue Kroger logo sign originally.
We’ll continue our tour from here in two weeks, this time diving into the Urban Mix décor post-remodel. Be sure to stick around for that! In the meantime, next week – wrapping up in Greenville, and heading somewhere new…
