Sorry my friends, I have a little time to dedicate myself to Flickr. I wish everyone all the best and good light.

Fail.

They just are too big!

:)

I spent an embarrassingly large amount of time creating bubbles and having every one of them fail. My bubble solution needs to be remade because the bubbles die and pop very quickly but instead of pouring it out and starting with fresh, I kept going. I wanted to make it work and even though I was frustrated that they lost color and popped. I won't make that mistake tomorrow but need to use one of the images from today as a reminder that when things aren't working we should stop and fix them. I am not sure if you need to hear this message today too but if you know something isn't working instead of just powering through you will end up with better results and be happier if you fix the problem instead of just ignoring it and thinking it will go away. Learn from my failure... especially all of my grammatical errors.

They don't build them like they used to.

While I had high hopes that this cloud Cannon Beach formation may have led to this sky turning ablaze in sunset colors, it turned out to hardly give any hint of what I had hoped for. Still, I found myself mesmerized by the detailed reflections in the sand.

Henry Ford is often looked back upon by history as a pioneer and innovator with his successful automobile manufacturing legacy. But not all of his ideas were successful. In 1920 Ford bought the Detroit, Toledo and Ironton which served his Rouge factory. His grand plans included electrifying the railroad so he could use power from his factory to keep costs down. But this electrification project was ultimately a failure as electric trains only ran for a few years before the subsequent owner of the DT&I determined steam was more economical. Ford’s electrification arches still remain to this day, mainly because they were made of solid concrete and too costly to remove. Canadian National train L572 is seen here rolling south towards Flat Rock Yard on the former DT&I (currently the CN Dearborn Subdivision). Two former IC SD70s lead the train under some of Ford’s Arches that remain near Taylor, MI.

sam made this guy from a kit, and considering the instructions were in burmese, i was so proud. the thing worked too, for about 5 minutes, then one of the red eyeball lights went out. it's balance was too off kilter for much walking and sam was soon in mourning on the bathroom floor.

Union Pacific train YSP51 will have to swap power before proceeding to East Minneapolis after the PTC failed in 1933. This was one of many delays on that day; the train didn't depart until sunset.

Do you know that? On location you try to get the best shot for quite a while by finding the best angle, best settings - here even with flash. And after a while you think you have the shot. But once loaded on the computer you immediately see something that you did not see on location that totally ruins the shot. In this case that %*&$ leaf on the top right of the mushroom.

What do you call a Beautiful and Friendly Witch?..."A Failure"...Asha you are such a big failure...

I've decided to upload some of my Asha Halloween pictures I've had them ready for ages and just couldn't wait to upload them. I want to see how they are received as I have quite a load of them... This was one of the first Halloween pictures I ever took of Asha and I think it is so cute ...

The best thing about experiencing failure is that you learn to appreciate even the smallest of triumphs. What a wonderful world.... ☺

How to Stop Caring About What Other People Think.

We hesitate to be innovative, creative, or to speak up because no one wants to be told that his ideas suck, or her plan was just a big mistake.

This California Poppy blossom never opened. For some reason the cap never came off.

Paul Krugman pointed out something I had also noticed: “Sanewashing”. Some professional journalists—conditioned to avoid bias or the appearance of bias—are struggling to express the obvious: The World Turned Upside Down. Former norms and standards have been abandoned. Checks and Balances died with the Constitution. Do you remember the finale of “1984”, when Big Brother changed sides in the long-running war during Hate Week, despite the new ally’s recent atrocities?

Left one press printed.

Right one hand printed.

This is why I never hand print anymore! I suck at it!

Experiment with hard cherry wood was a failure. While the image doesn't look bad carving this wood was not worth the added effort due to the hardness of the wood. Plus the wood is so much thicker than shina that I had to raise the press roller. Annoying. I might actually recarve it on shina. This block took me a good hour to an hour and a half to carve. I could carve it in shina in fifteen minutes. And shina is a lot cheaper too.

This moment is only big enough for one of us!

Zandar stands at the Very place he almost lost his life. Four chest shots and a neck abrasion. If not for his brother Little Z would not be here to relive the ambush by Gi joe.

=) and my passion for drop macro continues..

Thats another pillowcase that I got especially for this purpose! *blush* =D It features Homer Simpson saying, "Trying is the first step towards failure!" lols.

This photo is dedicated to a true friend of mine.

"For me, this photo is a very personal thing, as i've been thinking a lot about lately how soceity and the surroundings can make you feel lonely. Now, it's not soceity that actually creates the feeling, it's yourself. As being different from your surroundings, can tend to have that effect on you. You feel different, and lonely, afraid of not doing what everyone else expects you to do. I had been dealing with that feeling for a while, but around a week ago I thought ''fuck it''. Now I know it sounds cliche, but you have to be true to yourself, be who you want to be and not who everyone else want you to be. By living your life from the heart, you will have no regrets, yet living in fear, will make you a robot. Just like all the other robot people. As the quote says '' They made fools out of the best of us, and robots out of the rest of us.

- Once I got this out of my mind, I though of expressing it in a photo, and I know no one else with the talent, and drive as Lloyd! So, I explained him this idea and here is the final product. - I don't think that we could have expressed this feeling in a better way.

Be who you wanna be. There is just no excuse.''

Thank you so much for all the attention i've received lately! All those amazing words and kind things you say means a lot to me! Thank you!

This is my second successful image for 2013. Mathis (which is the character in this photo) and I went for a shoot this weekend. Our idea was to show a person who was lonely and scared of failing.

It was freaking cold, at the beach, even dough I was wearing cloth - so thanks Mathis for being so brave to take off almost every piece of your cloth and jump into the 1 celsius degrees water. People around us couldn't understand what the heck we were doing...

As failure and adversity the wave is impossible to avoid and this symbolizes, that you have to push yourself and keep on going cause "there is no succes like failure" cause it makes us stronger.
