This is the first passenger train I've seen in the yard, behind Ipswich Station. I can only assume it's failed.

Buffalo Never Fails: The Queen City and World War I is now open for a two-year run at the Downtown Central Library. The historically rich exhibit features the Library’s spectacularly visual collection of local, national and international posters produced during the World War I period, collected and gifted to the Library after the war by Buffalonian Edward Michael. Photographs, letters, film footage, and artifacts from several local veteran organizations and collectors help tell the stories of commitment and sacrifice by individuals serving both at home and abroad.
A rifle salute, color guard ceremony and ribbon cutting with several local veterans organizations, Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz, Library Director Mary Jean Jakubowski and historian Jacek Wysocki, Esq., officially kicked off the opening on Saturday, November 18, 2017.
Great copy. And I think this is the first time I've seen a Dopplr error message, which in itself is saying something.

After clearing security I noticed the pocket knife in Thomas' camera bag. We didn't tell him until after we landed because the kid can NOT just play it cool.
A dodgy clutch on the Kodak Retina meant I had to open the back a few times whilst shooting. I didn't always do this in a completely dark place
I sort of had this in mind when I first learned of this week's assignment, but spent the weekend looking for a better opportunity. This is a self-portrait taken with the two second shutter release timer and a tripod. I connected a dead 386 laptop to the monitor to get an authentic display. If this had been an actual system failure the model (me) would have been tearing around the house throwing things rather than in the pose shown

Celui là a du sécher les cours de camouflage... Les feuilles mortes étaient juste un peu plus bas, il serait passé inaperçu. Il a néanmoins fait la joie du photographe :)

Taken shortly before frogging, this shows detail of a scarf made from Wavy, a Knitty pattern. It did not look at all like the pattern photos. It was full of weird lumps and ridges. None of this is attributable to the yarn, which was Cascade 220 superwash in a lovely aqua. Photo by Kathy C.

So we were standing in line at The Real Canadian Superstore tonight, and don't I look out to an amazing sight; the sun's setting, and there are jet streams going through it, which sort of looked like claws... so I'm anxious to get to the car, which had my camera, but I don't think any of the shots turned out all that well :( Note to self, keep camera in pocket from now on...
I love the dotted squiggles in this one lol
