So, my brother and I spent a good hour on attempting to capture the reflection of this dang daisy in this raindrop. As you can see.... not much came of it and this is the best we could do without a controlled environment.

I remember seeing Destination Map prototypes at Stanford Media X presentations. Unfortunately three tries out of three failed.
Experimenting with movement, results weren't as great as I thought it would be. This is a rose dragged across an Epson scanner in a very particular way. #scanography

I just spent the last two hours putting together what I had hoped would be jenn.nu's next layout. I picked out colors, found a nice pattern, figured out how to add a highlighted area in the middle, found a great textured paper on Deviant Art, downloaded two or so dozen grungy fonts, and messed around with textures and brushes to come up with this.
I love it, but it's way too minimal for my site, no matter how much I may wish otherwise. I like my layouts like I like my purses -- big and with plenty of room to spare!
Gah.
Is this the equivalent of good cholesterol? I didn't realize there were good carbon emissions.

Failed orb attempt using a glowstick... I need something more powerful.
Went out with the HoustonPhotowalks.com group to play around with some light painting. I'm a bit disapointed about my failure with the Orbs but had fun all the same; will have to practice more.

Seeing these signs made me laugh out loud and reach for my camera phone. This is one part of the window of the meat market inside the Soulard Farmers' Market. The first thing to think about when advertising should be location, no?
