I was walking around the house trying to find interesting things to shoot & practice my non existing bokeh skillz. So...here are the refrigerator magnets holding up my cool ass Threadless Calender!
I set out on a small storm chase today (Jun 24 2023) as there were thunderstorms in the area and a weather advisory issued for the potential development of funnel clouds or land spouts.
This photo was shot from over Valens Lake. The witch's hat looking cloud looked like it was going to develop into a funnel for a few minutes but then dissipated which the next photo shows. I didn't see any funnel clouds but the area experienced very heavy downpours, probably the heaviest I've been through in a while.

For a long time I've wondered what I'd look like with [virtually] no hair, so yesterday I thought, "to hell with it, I'm going to give it a try".

some kind of newly discovered fail whale in the wild. glimpsed flying with a 503 bad gateway error. not seen before. colouring seems slightly different from the common variety of fail whale. interesting.
I was typing part 12 of my fiction and I typed in "William's" and it said it was spelled wrong, I was all like:
"WTF, spellcheck."
Instead of getting off the platform in Naperville, IL, this BNSF worker flies down the platform between the actual station and Loomis Street. This is the second platform fail here in a month!
