Day one hundred and four of my project 365. This is a picture of an Alka Seltzer packet. Alka Seltzer are basically effervescent tablets of essential salts that you lose whilst dehydrated and aspirin, in order to conquer hangovers, and trust me I needed one of these... I was drinking foul 8% scumpy all night last night. Needless to say, I'm never drinking again.
After several failed attempts by players, coaches and security to try to grab the dogs collar...and after it peed on the 29 yard line, a police officer decides to run AWAY from the dog, and the dog followed! it worked!
Stitching software failed rather splendidly.
I was actually standing over the brass medalion in the centre of the floor.
so i basically fail the 365 project.
sorry man but i just cant do it.
taking a picture of myself everyday is tooooo much for me.
that & i was running out of good ideas & whats the point if your going to put up crappy picture after crappy picture?
so i except my failure & ill still do self portraits, but only if i think they are up to snuff:)
Tee shirt graphic for classic rocker.
Fail: Limbo.Understandable, as it's a rush job and a weird attempt at mixing cheesy Sailor Jerry/Ed Hardy tattoo flash and classic Americana. Blech.
The idiot in the beige Pontiac pulled up moments before the 3985 rounded the curve, screwing up the shots of several people who had set up long before the train arrived.

I can see the shot I want, but I just can't quite get it for all the foliage. Even on tip toe hovering over the freezing river it's just out of reach - I gave up in the end, that water's far too cold for a dip today! :D
This is the fan duct that's on the side of a Rep2 extruder/print-head, and reaches underneath. When working, it does a good job of selectively cooling the correct areas without interfering with the actual printing.
But ... as in this photo, it sometimes breaks itself apart.
This part uses an ultra cheap (and AFAICS: guaranteed to eventually fail) plastic clip ... when that wears, or just springs open on a hot/cold/whatever day, it drops your fan-duct onto your print, which ruins the print (and can damage your printer).
I assume it's this way to fix/workaround some other problem, and might be a clever hack - but its defintely the wrong solution given it so easily falls off and breaks prints during normal operation! My fix? Sellotape or superglue the thing together. Try tape first - you need to leave a small gap between the hinging bits so it can slot into place on print-head, and tape lets you try it and see what I mean before you glue. But overall: IMHO a bad design.
If you haven't seen it yet, there's a British Public Service Announcement that's about 4 and a half minutes long that deals with teens texting while driving and the accidents that can occur. It's rather graphic but obviously, it gets the point across - don't text while driving.
So when I was showing it to someone today, I was surprised at first that I had to sign in but once it was up, I was even more surprised by the warning at the top.
Aren't minors exactly who they're trying to reach with this PSA?
Day 36 - When things don`t go according to plan. Tried to capture fireworks, but completly misscalculated the distance, timing, lighting and had to cancel the project
So, we get a few inches of snow, and fail ensues.
My electricity - and that of a number of other premises including a doctor's surgery, and also of the pedestrian crossing here - failed at around four in the afternoon.
It was finally fixed at around two in the morning.
Were the grave-diggers moving too quickly to finish the job? Or, God help us, was the deceased attempting a return to our world? I hurried on, unwilling to learn the truth.
