Alright. Story. Longish story that I will cut short for you. I took a photo of crew today. But due to multiple uploads and a small blonde moment.... I formatted my card without realized I had NOT uploaded that photo. -.- And the recovery software recovers photos from months ago... but not Monday. Super sad and super lame. This was the ONLY other photo I took that day.... With my iphone. At a gas station. With Mr.B.
And that's pretty much my face when I think of this awfulness. -.- I guess that's life.

Here are our failed attempts to partially self replicate using our CNC RepStrap with ABS.
We still have problems with the heated M6 rod plopping out of the PTFE part. Marius had the great idea to wrap around some PTFE tape around the M6 rod before screwing it in to increase the friction to prevent it from popping out. This seemd to work only partially for the rightmost part but at least it did not come out the full way.
A loose piece of mask got wrapped into the film, giving light all the way it needed to ruin the pictures. Well, is it really ruined?

This project focused on the creation of two ‘gentle giant’ characters mourning their failed love, centred specifically around the third stanza of Carol Ann Duffy’s poem Mean Time, which I decided to revisit. These images include an A3 felt pen and watercolour piece; an A6 paper cut drawing using watercolour sprinkled with salt; and an A2 digitally drawn image which used fineliner as its starting point. These designs characterise this giant and his counterpart’s narrative as one defined by deep anguish, primarily using a blue toned palette and downcast facial features to communicate the melancholic heartbreak of the once couple.
