The Controller's family stopped by the office... and although I was not able to capture a picture of his son, I did get this ADORABLE little faerie, his daughter!
Had to shelter from the rain under the Faerie Viaduct on the River Aire in West Yorkshire so had limited views - so tried something a bit different.
The hat sits on a bookcase that's behind me when I sit at the computer. This way, the faeries get to look over my shoulder. They like it when there are other faeries on the screen. They like it even more, of course, when they are on the screen. The purple dragon is Druff the Magic Pagon. Next to him is Rhiannon, then Brian and Wendy, then Sparkle (twin to Twinkle on the other side). At the top is Sundancer. Usually I try to have her facing toward the rear, but she keeps turning around and peeking around the peak of the hat. The butterfly is a shy faierie in disguise.
Holly Faerie is a OOAK beaded art doll. She is bal-jointed and has 13 points of articulation. She is made of Japanese glass seed beads, organic cotton thread & fiber fill, ahimsa silk thread, and Swarovski pearls. She is about 9 inches tall. This is not her usual wig and I've since had to undo this paint job, the finish wasn't as durable as I had hoped, but the paint technique worked well!

The Historic Gardens have certainly found favour with the good faeries that have moved into Annapolis Royal. More faerie houses appeared today, these ones nestled under our giant magnolias.
