2013.

Me at Faerie World 2008, Eugene OR. I took this with my cell phone camera. Not too bad, if I do say so myself.

The perfect place to find a faerie.

I've added a bit of faerie fun to an ordinary mundane ball point pen--and no one will mistakenly walk away with it. They may walk away with it on purpose instead!

I covered a 5 1/2" (13,97 cm) medium point black ink Bic Clic Stic with one of my favorite faerie calendar pictures, saved for their beautiful art, and overlaid micro-beads to give it that special faerie sparkle. The twinkly pen charm was made using glass beads, seed beads, tube beads, crystal rondelle spacers, pewter kenyan beads, sterling silver rounds, sterling silver bali spacers, sterling silver heart head pins, sterling flat diamond chain, and a rubber o-ring. The pen charm is approximately 2-2 1/2" (5,08-6,35 cm).

In honor of the 19th Oracle Gathering, The Gift, coming up this weekend, I pulled this one out of the archives. This was taken just before my very first Oracle Gathering, Faerie Magick. Johnny Wonder painted my face and the Elvin allies came to support our journey. And what a journey it has been!

I've been working on Holly, she's the faerie of the holly plant. I thought she would be really cute for Christmas. There is a lot of interesting lore about the holly plant, and it has healing properties too! I will be writing more about that when she is all finished. ^_^

Spinel Faerie is the first in a series of Gemstone Faeries. She is about 9.25 inches tall, and is made of Japanese glass seed beads, organic cotton fiber fill & thread, and Swarovski pearls. She will have natural black spinel on her dress. All the colors used represent colors of spinel. She is ball-jointed, and has 13 points of articulation.

Some Bougainvillea flowers I spotted hanging over a neighbours fence.

I decided to find some faeries to play in my garden of Lupines and they seem right at home there don't they?

Holly Faerie is a OOAK beaded art doll. She is bal-jointed and has 13 points of articulation. She is made of Japanese glass seed beads, organic cotton thread & fiber fill, ahimsa silk thread, and Swarovski pearls. She is about 9 inches tall. There is a lot of interesting lore about the holly plant, I posted a little about that on my website, if anyone wants to read it, here is the link: faeriedustdolls.wordpress.com/2015/08/17/holly-faerie/
