This plushie I made on commission, but the design is my own, based on this picture from my blog:

The eyes were a bit of a challenge as I haven't made them like this before, but I think they turned out ok.

When the theme calls for fantasy, my costume of choice is faerie. This is my most recent creation.

coptic bound, my handmade, hand painted faerie papers, archival bookboard, handmade archival rice paste.

sewn with purple waxed Irish linen thread, handmade & recycled paper pages, dragonfly charm, silver beads, silver eyelets, hand sponged pages & edges.

2007 collaboration with the lovely Miss Hannah Wells (angry faerie on the right).

I've added a bit of faerie fun to an ordinary mundane ball point pen--and no one will mistakenly walk away with it. They may walk away with it on purpose instead!

I covered a 5 1/2" (13,97 cm) medium point black ink Bic Clic Stic with one of my favorite faerie calendar pictures, saved for their beautiful art, and overlaid micro-beads to give it that special faerie sparkle. The twinkly pen charm was made using glass beads, seed beads, tube beads, crystal rondelle spacers, pewter kenyan beads, sterling silver rounds, sterling silver bali spacers, sterling silver heart head pins, sterling flat diamond chain, and a rubber o-ring. The pen charm is approximately 2-2 1/2" (5,08-6,35 cm).

Inside view of both wings

If this video loads correctly then no explanation will be needed. However, faeries are notoriously bad with technology so we will see. This upload is late due to the intense struggle my computer and I have already had. But rest assured that I will not cease to pursue this venture until I am victorious and you are able to enjoy all 15 seconds of spectacular imagery. It might just change your life. I know it will mine. :)

edit of Faerie Hollow. ^_^

Cover of the mini-album I'm using to create a Faerie book for my research.
