The owners of the cotton gin agreed to let us climb the rafters and jump into the piles of cotton. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience!

Those who have been to Havana as tourists will know that people will try to sell you cigars all the time, claiming to get them much cheaper than the official shops. As you walk down the street you'll get "Psst - you wan' buy cigar? Very cheap."
Well, if you're anywhere near the capitol building and the theatre you will get people who either actually work at this factory or pretend to work at it "Hey, it's you lucky day - the cigar factory is having a sale today", and all that pony - well, this is the factory they're referring to. When we walked past it was just before Christmas and the place was shut. That didn't stop some people on nearby streets claiming they had "much cheap cigars today - there is a sale at the factory." I just smiled and said "Sorry; I don't smoke."
And I hate to break this to you, but they're not all rolled on the thighs of virgins either.
I started to smell that wonderful bread-y smell several blocks earlier, and by the time I got to the baking operation itself, was half starved for bread. I must've stared at the machines for 15 minutes.
South Georgia is not where most people look for scenic waterfalls. I know of several waterfalls in the Chattahoochee River valley. The recent rains added some much needed water.
