Kidwelly Brick Works to the north of Kidwelly station was opened c.1858 by William Edwards of Swansea. This site ceased operation in c.1903. A new works was built to the south of of the railway station by Alderman Daniel Stephens which opened in 1903. Stephens worked silica from Mynydd-y-Garreg and this was brought into the works via train. Up to 1927 the firm was known as Stephens & Co, but later as Beynon Davies Civils Ltd.
These photographs, taken in March 2017, showcase the building as it stands today.
Inspiration for the framing of the shots came from the 1975 New Topographics exhibition.

On West Factory Road, following a right-hand fork, one can drive close to colorful bentonite layers adjacent to Factory Butte and North Caineville Mesa. This bright red layer, however, is not visible from the road. One has to use a drone to get above it. Drone panorama, afternoon.

LX Factory is an urban fragment in one of the former industrial areas of Lisbon, located under the famous Bridge. It’s a giant atelier full of galleries to discover with traditional restaurants, design shops and even concert halls.
It's a creative island in the ruins of a gigantic abandoned industrial site. After much work renewing the whole space, the new factory was occupied by corporations, new brands, startups and wanna-be-artists. The place is decorated with huge, colorful graffiti-style murals on the exterior walls.
Lx Factory is a creative mini-city. From architecture to music, it’s now the home of design companies, galleries and artists studios. There are small trendy restaurants, hipster shops, visual and performing arts, music, fashion and one of the best ice creams in town.

I want to improve my custom skills and I bought a factory ae for some practice. she's nothing special, just practiced carving on her
Lilith is a new arrival. She is a factory girl with a translucent face plate and Violetina's scalp. I used to have Violet but there was something about the colour of her hair combined with her skin tone that didn't look right to me so I sold her. But I missed her beautiful hair since purple is my absolute favorite colour! Since she arrived I have sand matted her, given her new eye chips, new eyelashes and a hair treatment - totally love her!

I had this designed since winter but never had the will or pieces to finish it. I tried to make it as simple as possible while keeping the detail intact.
This was my test of the Hero Factory pieces. I really like the texture they can give to a MOC but they're not easy to use. I connected each armor piece using a ball joint and decimated my supply. I used about 100 in this model.
The tail technique is new and I'll post it later on. It relies on ball joints for movement so it can't hold itself up entirely. But it can pose well.
This is a shot in a now abandoned factory, the factory was damaged in the February and Mondays earthquake completely fucked it to put it nicely.
The machines and stock are left at the back of the factory because it is to dangerous to retrieve.
Feel free to add notes etc if you have something to add.
