May 1 was Don's birthday.... but we didn't get there until the 2nd... and since we tease him about being a "princess".... we couldn't resist getting him a tiara... complete with flashing penis!
But... on a more serious note... we got him a cobalt blue vase as well to go with his blue glass collection!
Thy soul shall find itself alone
’Mid dark thoughts of the gray tombstone—
Not one, of all the crowd, to pry
Into thine hour of secrecy.
Be silent in that solitude,
Which is not loneliness—for then
The spirits of the dead who stood
In life before thee are again
In death around thee—and their will
Shall overshadow thee: be still.
- Edgar Allan Poe

Two people that I have grown to call dear friends, Jamie and Shandi, take their final evening on the stage as Mr and Ms Gios 2008/2009.
After a hiatus of several months... Cocktailia is dusted off and comes out to join in the festivities!
Day 104/365
SRU Building Bridges held the "Day For No Hate" in which people form a cicle around the quad and hold hands for 15 minutes.
This is just one of the things you'll see when fliyng between Bogotá (Colombia) and Madrid (Spain), if on board of an Avianca aircraft; perhaps one of the best long-trip flying experiences out there... even in economy class.
Highly recommended.
Gr8!
Tried out the smile detection on my camera... he was amazed that it didn't take his photo until he smiled!
