Facelift version of the Volvo S60 prior to its discontinuation. This is the 2-liter, 5-cylinder, 20-valve light pressure turbo model. In the background is a normally aspirated, 2004 model Volvo S40 2.4L.
I love how Montreal restores and preserves it's old buildings...unlike Toronto, which just flattens them and builds condos. (check the HQ version)

In a traditional face-lift, the skin is literally lifted off the face so that the skin and the tissues beneath can be tightened and the skin can be repositioned smoothly over the face.

About a month ago, I somehow found myself in the chair of a beauty clinic, a doctor was marking up my face and showing me where he will be injecting fillers. As a beauty junkie and a journalist, I’ve tried nearly everything from the ‘Dracula’ to a chemical peel that was so strong, my face looked like a skinned tomato and now I was here for an 8 point facelift, also known as face lift injection in Abu Dhabi or elsewhere.

This drawing describes how the addition at the back of the house was conceived as an extrusion of the house form. With full basement below, family room and porch at grade, and parents’ room above, the addition provides approximately 1,000 new square feet. The family room north wall is angled to maintain the view from the kitchen windows. The basement ceiling is constructed of precast concrete planks to allow for adequate waterproofing where this ceiling acts as outside patio space.
The fountain outside Meyer Library, a campus favorite, gets a change of scenery thanks to a summer/fall landscaping project.
