Full Moon from last night.

This is a single shot and I took this with a hand held camera.

This is my first full moon shot ever.

For this shot I had several challenges:

1) Since my camera is an entry level Canon, I had to be very careful about ISO/noise. And also since I didn't have a tripod with me, I also had limited range on shutter speed.

2) Again since I didn't have a tripod, It had to be a single shot.

Still, I'm pretty content with the result.

Unfortunately the Red Moon Eclipse from Nov 19 was not visible in Germany, so I took my foto of the wonderful red moon from April.

San Francisco Bay, California

I was very lucky to catch the first full moon of 2018 from a cruise.

Cloud was moving in slowly. I did not have my cameras or tripod so I borrowed my sons Nikon p600 Its not bad at all I guess. It took this and a few more , Handheld very steady, ruined more than I got :) Anyway it was fun.
