O que é batalha?
1.Ato essencial da guerra, constituído por um conjunto de combates simultâneos ou sucessivos travados pelas diversas armas, e em que toma parte a totalidade ou a maioria das forças que atuam num teatro de operações.

O freestyle é uma batalha do improviso que nasceu junto com o movimento Hip Hop. Quando o sound system (dois toca-discos interligados, com dois amplificadores e um microfone) se popularizou na periferia de Nova York, em meados dos anos 60, alguns músicos pegavam os seus equipamentos e iam para rua animar os diferentes quarteirões do Bronx. “Os DJ’s que nessa época também tinham a função de MC’s pegavam o microfone e defendiam seu som.
