During the intermission, the dozers and forklifts came out to reconfigure the jumps for the freestyle competition.
The boys and I hit Monster Jam at the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, RI. It was a boys day out and we spent the entire day (9:30am - 4:30pm) at the arena for Pit Pass & the show. A day full of giant trunks, sugary drinks, hot dogs, chicken fingers and fries and HORSE POWER!

The Temptress is the latest incarnation of the legendary 1080 but with a feminine graphic. Again Salomon have their graphics sorted for this year and the Temptress looks fantastic. The core is an isocell woodcore with a mix of wood and isocell foam- so you have the lightness and agility from the foam plus stability and durability of the wood.
The Temptress is one of the most versatile skis available with something to offer everyone from intermediate to expert skier and its not only freestylers who will have fun with this pair of twin-tips.

Søndag d. 15. september afholdt Drinksmeister ”DM i Freestyle Mixologi” for første gang. Stedet var Fidel’s i København, og der var lagt i ovnen til en søndag, hvor nogle af landets dygtigste og mest kreative bartender skule stå overfor en udfordring normalt kun forbeholdt deltagere i MasterChef.
De 13 deltagere fik 20 minutter til at kreere en cocktail ud fra en Mystery Box, hvor de på forhånd intet kendte til indholdet. Herefter var det en tur i baren, hvor de skulle lave selvsamme cocktail i 4 eksemplarer på 6 minutter. En benhård test, der kræver kreativitet, viden og talent.
De tre dommere, Yvonne Kubach (Y’s Café og Cocktailbar), Henrik Hammer (Geranium Gin), og Bo Tranberg Christensen (DrinksMeister) var på hårdt arbejde med at finde de fire finalister. De skulle bedømme alle cocktails ud fra Smag/Aroma (40 %), salgsbarhed (20 %) og kreativitet (40 %). Dommerne anede ikke hvilken bartender der lavede hvilken cocktail, da navnene blev skjult, og de kun havde deres deltagernummer. Deres votering endte i nedenstående resultater:
