Had an awesome time at the East Coast Surf Competition today. Have never really been a big fan of the beach, but my roommates are huge surfers so I went along with them. Was surprised to see the thousands upon thousands of people there.
I learned to surf for the first time today. Wasn't pretty but I was able to stand for a few waves.
I had to use the 20d today because I was too scared to take the 5d out near the sand. It worked out with the Crop Factor anyway.
