Pay attention to your pets this weekend, people. Pets go missing on July 4 / Canada Day, more than any other day of the year. Fireworks scare our furry friends. ♥

This side - those seagulls are free forever ; against the other side in the distance - Alcatraz Island, there was a federal prison from 1934 until 1963. Because of its isolation from the outside by the cold and strong currents of the waters of San Francisco Bay, even the co-founder of Chicago Outfit, Al Capone, who had been jailed there.
The image perspective was viewing from Crissy Field, San Francisco, California. Tried to take long exposure to smooth the water surface and to darken the color. Hopefully I could get a simpler form in the frame, which was my purpose. Thank you for stopping by, with best wishes for you and your family!

I felt free to take the picture of the freedoms on display in this scene.....
There cannot have been many who did not know that it was the 75th anniversary of the D Day landings.
This image was a complete fluke in it's origins,
i had shot 66715 "Valour" on the 6S94 Wembley-Irvine

Of course the freedom of the press springs to mind.
Any how, i thought to take a departing shot, "power on" after a crew change stop, and on reviewing it, i noticed this scene and cropped it out of the bigger picture.
