An der Côte d’Azur verläuft die Bahnstrecke oft direkt am Meer. Fotostellen sind aber Rar wenn man sich die Strecke als ganzes betrachtet. Zwischen St. Raphael und Cannes gibt es aber einiges ... und auch nicht unbekanntes.
Das ist auch in Ordnung - denn die Gegend ist einfach wunderschön - vor allem in der Nebensaison (ich will mir gar nicht vorstellen wie es in der Hauptsaison aussieht).
Neben viel Regionalverkehr gibt es auf der Strecke ein paar TGVs und auch einer der letzten SNCF Nachtzügen hält sich. Er verbindet Paris mit Nizza und verkehrt täglich. Und er verkehrt perfekt im Licht am Vormittag - er verlässt St. Raphael gegen 8 Uhr und rollt im zur bestmöglichen Zeit nach Cannes.
An diesem Tag war "leider" eine Phantom BB 22200 am Zug.

Nördlich von Grenoble verläuft die Bahnstrecke nach Valence und Lyon gemeinsam bis Moirans, entprechend viel ist auf diesem Abschnitt los. Bis zu 4 Nahverkehrszüge pro Stunde / Richtung gibt es. Fotogen ist die Ecke auch ... noch mehr mit der Drohne.
Die Züge der Relation Valence - Annecy sind zudem 2026 noch zumeist lokbespannte Züge mit CORAIL TER Wagenmaterial. Auch dieser Zug, der auf dem Weg nach Valence ist.

Sur l'emplacement d'un château féodal fut construit entre 1843 et 1848 un nouveau château à l'initiative de madame Barbe Nicole Ponsardin dite Veuve Clicquot par l'architecte Jean-Jacques Arveuf-Fransquin (1802-1876), entre 1843 et 1848.
De style néo-Renaissance, il serait inspiré du château de Chambord.
Alors que ce dernier possède 365 cheminées, le château de Boursault a 365 ouvertures (portes et fenêtres).
Le château possède des tours en poivrières, des clochetons, des belvédères et de hautes cheminées.
Y vécut Madame Clicquot, le comte Louis de Chevigné, l'auteur des Contes Rémois, et son épouse Clémentine née Clicquot.
Son arrière-petite-fille, Anne de Rochechouart-Mortemart, duchesse d'Uzès (1847-1933), hérita de ce château en 1866 (décès de la Veuve Clicquot).
Ce château était le cadeau de mariage de la veuve Clicquot à sa petite-fille Marie Clémentine Leriche de Chevigné, fille de sa fille Clémentine et mère de la duchesse d'Uzès.

FR - Il fût un temps où faire le Cévenol était un réel plaisir, un beau train. Ce plaisir a disparu dès lors que les automoteurs ont pris le relais, sur une ligne que je connais bien car traversant mon département de naissance. C'est non loin de Domeyrat, dans ma région natale, que passe ce Régiolis bien fade qui n'a de grandeur que son nom.
NL - Er was een tijd dat de 'Cévenol' een getrokken trein was en een feestje voor het oog was. Een bezoek aan mijn geboortestreek de Haute-Loire gaat helaas niet meer gepaard met mooie treinen, omdat de Cévenol nu met een Régiolis rijdt en nog alleen de naam mooi heeft. Domeyrat, 30 juni 2022.
50631 Vénissieux - Strasbourg Port du Rhin
Suite à des travaux sur la L1 entre Toul et Nancy, l'horaire du Naviland 50631 Vénissieux - Strasbourg a été très nettement retardé pendant quelques semaines au début de l'automne 2021. Ce train circule habituellement en fin de nuit dans ce sens, et donc infaisable même en été.
Ce 25 Septembre, l'entorse à la grasse matinée valait le coup, puisque c'est la BB22275 qui assurait le 50361, à ma grande surprise !

Honfleur is a commune in the Calvados department in Normandy en.normandie-tourisme.fr/normandy-tourism-109-2.html in northwestern France. It is located on the southern bank of the estuary of the Seine across from le Havre and very close to the exit of the Pont de Normandie. Its inhabitants are called Honfleurais. It is especially known for its old, beautiful picturesque port, characterized by its houses with slate-covered frontages, painted many times by artists, including in particular Gustave Courbet, Eugène Boudin, Claude Monet and Johan Jongkind, forming the école de Honfleur (Honfleur school) which contributed to the appearance of the Impressionist movement. The Sainte-Catherine church, which has a bell tower separate from the principal building, is the largest church made out of wood in France. The first written record of Honfleur is a reference by Richard III, Duke of Normandy, in 1027. By the middle of the 12th century, the city represented a significant transit point for goods from Rouen to England. Located on the estuary of one of the principal rivers of France with a safe harbour and relatively rich hinterland, Honfleur profited from its strategic position from the start of the Hundred Years' War. The town's defences were strengthened by Charles V in order to protect the estuary of the Seine from attacks from the English. This was supported by the nearby port of Harfleur. However, Honfleur was taken and occupied by the English in 1357 and from 1419 to 1450. When under French control, raiding parties often set out from the port to ransack the English coasts, including partially destroying the town of Sandwich, in Kent, England, in the 1450s. At the end of the Hundred Years' War, Honfleur benefited from the boom in maritime trade until the end of the 18th century. Trade was disturbed during the wars of religion in the 16th century. The port saw the departure of a number of explorers, in particular in 1503 of Binot Paulmierde Gonneville to the coasts of Brazil. In 1506, local man Jean Denis departed for Newfoundland island and the mouth of the Saint Lawrence. An expedition in 1608, organised by Samuel de Champlain, founded the city of Quebec in modern day Canada. After 1608, Honfleur thrived on trade with Canada, the West Indies, the African coasts and the Azores. As a result, the town became one of the five principal ports for the slave trade in France. During this time the rapid growth of the town saw the demolition of its fortifications on the orders of Colbert. The wars of the French revolution and the First Empire, and in particular the continental blockade, caused the ruin of Honfleur. It only partially recovered during the 19th century with the trading of wood from northern Europe. Trade was however limited by the silting up of the entrance to the port and development of the modern port at Le Havre. The port however still functions today. Praktisch jede Stunde verbindet Eurostar die Französische Hauptstadt mit der Britischen Insel bzw. London.
Dafür werden, ab Paris, vor allem die Velaros E320 eingesetzt. Zwei Halbzüge mit jeweils eigener Nummer bilden eine knapp 400m lange Garnitur.
Die Halbzüge 027 + 028 haben anlässlich der Sommerspiele 2024 in Paris einen "goldenen Kopf" erhalten, wo auf die Zusammenarbeit mit Eurostar hingewiesen wird.
Diese Einheit ist vor etwa 90min in Paris gestartet und wird in weniger als einer Minute in den Eurotunnel bei Calais eintauchen.
Das Gleis links ist die Ausfädelung aus der Neubaustrecke nach Calais, welche von einigen TGV Zügen genutzt wird - die dann nicht in den Tunnel fahren. Nur von TGV Zügen, aber nicht nur von TGV's - es gibt auch TER Leistungen von Calais nach Lille über die NBS - aber auch mit TGV Garnituren. Das dürfte in Frankreich auch relativ einmlaig sein?

Die SNCF betreibt nebst den TGV Verbindungen nach Deutschland und in die Schweiz auch eine Linie nach Italien - nach Milano. Zwei bis drei mal täglich verbindet ein TGV Paris mit Milano u.z.
Dabei nutzen die Züge den Grenzübergang bei Modane in den Französischen Alpen. Dieser Zug ist gerade kurz davor Italien zu erreichen.
