211/365 What could possibly be more “first day back to work from the best 2+ weeks of vacation ever” than tipping one’s glass of wine into their lap while trying to take a picture of the Christmas lights reflecting in the gorgeous new wine glasses? Ha ha. Seriously, though, work was busy but not horrible. More horrible was the fact that Favre is making too many trips to Club Oui Oui (aka “peeing on the couch”) and we’re having to ask ourselves if it’s his time to drive off in his Fluffy Camaro.

ISO 1 film. If your camera can’t be set to ISO 1, you can dial in ISO 25 and then open up 5 more f-stops. Another option is to use a hand-held light meter (like the Sekonic or Gossen Luna Pro F) or use a Light Meter App on your Smart Phone
Don't have a light meter? Use this "cheat sheet" in broad daylight - 1/250th sec @ f1.4 - 1/125th sec @ f2 - 1/60th sec @ f2.8 - 1/30th sec @ f4 - 1/15th sec @ f5.6

168/365. Not our best getaway day ever. Erke is not settling in as well as we’d hoped, with an alarming amount of bed peeing and pooping. She spent all day mopey and quiet (and having a vet visit), and we spent all day freaking out and thinking we need to return her. But we had a three-person Cheryl session with Boomer (so fun!!!), and had indoor OP with Cheryl afterwards. And then we let the creature out of her room… and things started to seem better, maybe? Dansby kept careful watch in the PPR, which got cleaned up tonight for Erke to move in tonight. (Nothing like a refreshed corrugated circle to get the cats’ attention…) IN OTHER NEWS, WE’RE ON VACATION!

216/365. Day two at Zoombellishment was utterly delightful, but S is still feeling, with great consternation, the pull of Teacups. Meanwhile, the Favre situation is making us crazy; he spent today peeing around the pads on the couch, but none of us feels it’s time…

324/365. Dood’s!!! P’s long-looming training event was a smashing success, and our reward is delicious donuts that include Peep flavor! We had a hibernating kind of evening, playing Fleet until after 8 (without dinner ready!), but we have no regrets. The last big hurdle is this weekend’s kitten trip, and then it’s smooth sailing into summer.
