Ilford FP4+ in Ilfosol 3 1:9
These shots are from the first test roll where I was mostly checking for rangefinder accuracy and getting a feel for the viewfinder.
This one had a big light mark under the head and on the neck. I did my best with the Gimp to try and correct it with the cloning tool and the irregularity removal tool. Hope it does not spoil the picture too much (one of the best of the roll due to Murphy's law).

I'm interested in how familiar, mundane objects suddenly take on a more exotic feel when one's in a different country. I wouldn't think twice about taking a photo of a lamp post in the U.K. (maybe I should)
but on holiday in Portugal this one seemed much more interesting. A slightly "Unheimlich" photo for me, familiar yet unfamiliar... Uncanny?

He was showing me how fast he could run and then he slided right to my face, in his second attempt. :)
