An exhibition at the Henri-Cartier Bresson Foundation at 79 Rue des Archives, 75003 Paris. Shot with my Olympus E-M1, Mark II camera.
I went to two photo museums while in Paris. This was one of them.
I found this cute little opossum huddled up against the foundation of my office this afternoon where the sunshine had warmed those stones earlier in the day. We know that winter is on the way out when the Virginia opossums start roaming around again. They don't hibernate but they hate cold weather and stay in their dens until we get a welcome thaw.
Luke 6:47-48 New King James Version (NKJV)
47 Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: 48 He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock.

Here are a few of the 13 million bricks in Ft. Pulaski. How many modern masons could do this? A young Robert E. Lee was here as a 2nd Lieutenant during construction. The Howitzer cannons at Ft. Pulaski, a number of which can still be seen, were smooth-bore guns. When Union forces attacked with rifled Howitzers, the fort fell in less than two days.
Pink-headed knotweed ( Persicaria capitate grows along the foundation and on the grout of the Casa do Cantoneiro which sits along the road to the Caldera of Faial on the island of Faial in the Azores. The flower, originally introduced to the Azores as an ornamental plant, is native to the Himalayas. It escaped cultivation and is now considered an invasive plant.
The building, originally built to house road maintenance workers (cantoneiros), has been repurposed as an interpretation center for the Caldera within Faial Nature Park (Parque Natural do Faial).

Foundation for the back portion of the house, always expected it would fall over backwards, not be pushed over by mechanical piece of equipment.

The foundation and silo stand firm, but the barn fell many years ago. Part of the roof lays adjacent to the foundation.

Gehry, always overdoing it... here again, at Foundation Louis Vuitton - because we all know "98 percent of everything that is built and designed today is..." I think he is just in the expensive part of the 98 percent.
The Villa Datris Foundation, a space for contemporary sculpture located in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue in Provence (Vaucluse - south of France).
This year 2020 the theme is based on the recycling of objects and the diversion of objects for the creation of works of art.
I retained this image taken on the staircase of Villa Datris, when Céline arrives at an impromptu moment.
The contrast obtained gave an interesting result.
Downs Road Boatyard, Blackwater River, Maldon. The Foundation provides training and apprenticeships to keep heritage boatbuilding craft skills alive: such as rigging, metalworking, engineering and woodworking. Currently the apprentices are involved in the restoration of the 'Torbay Lass' built in 1923 and one of the last Brixham Trawlers to be built. The rebuild of Torbay Lass is managed by a lead shipwright with 6 young people getting hands on experience of rebuilding a 102-year-old wooden sailing vessel. Taken with a Polaroid SX-70 Alpha 1.
