Today was a good spotting day and I saw a number of tidy old Fords. This Escort looked nigh on pristine bar one or two marks which considering the age of it, are nothing. It's still got the original Parsons of Hartlepool plates and the wheel trims fitted when new.
I much prefer a basic L to an XR3 or something so this was pleasant to see. Nice to see it had an ultra low 55k on the clock as of July so I was surprised that's it's on its fifth owner. Nevertheless, this is a truly stunning piece of early 90s heritage.
Hammering downhill is this well used Foden 8 wheel S39 rigid lorry. The 3 little boys do not even give it a second glance, Peter however thought it was worthy of a frame. The vehicle was registered between August 1968 and July 1969.
