NO BANNERS, please!

Squirrel antics in the morning sunshine... and with a twinkle in its eye! 😉

Perfect lockdown image too... through the kitchen window. 😉

Have a nice day! Keep smiling! 😀

In the wintry light and bokeh, the Sony equipment captured this sparrow feather details very nicely. Recommend viewing large to take in those details. The range of color and patterns in these feathers is really pretty under the right conditions.

A previously unpublished shot from a productive day of shooting in September 2016. Enjoy!

One of the beauties that comes to visit consistently to our yard. Feathers all fluffed up as extra insulation against the cold winds.

Another "through my window" photo.

The Anna's hummingbirds over winter in our area. Last nite we had one of our rare snowfalls. This little bird was doing a lot of sitting probably to conserve energy. It has its feathers all fluffed up to make it look almost twice its usual size.

This isn't a dandelion. What kind of flower does this besides dandelions? I can't figure out which flower turned. It's bigger and sturdier than a dandelion.

EDIT -- just figured it out. It's yellow salsify.

White-browed Coucal Centropus superciliosus

The White-browed Coucal, sometimes referred to as the Lark-heeled Cuckoo, is a species of cuckoo in the Cuculidae family. It is found in sub-Saharan Africa. It inhabits areas with thick cover afforded by rank undergrowth and scrub, including in suitable coastal regions.

Candid eye contact street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. Enjoy!

This Green Heron is a regular visitor at the pond. He is quite friendly and lets me come very close for photos. I watched him preening for a long time and when he was done, he gave himself a great shake and all these tiny bits of fluff went flying into the air. A nice experience! :)

“How wonderful it would be if one could only be worthy of hearing the song of the grass. Each blade of grass sings out to God without any ulterior motive, and without expecting any reward. It’s most wonderful to hear its song, and worship God in its midst”

-Rebbe Nachman of Breslav, (Sichot Haran 163).

This picture is for the group Happy Caturday and this week the theme is "Patterns & Paws".

Elijah decided to sit still long enough to get a photo of his cute paws and fluffy sides. :) He and Noah have an identical black circle in the same place which you can see on Elijah's left side (the right side in this picture)... directly behind his arm. I always thought that was kind of neat.
