First in a series of flower images that I will be posting...
No idea of what this lovely flower is, but I was enthralled by its beauty and form. Looks like it's in the daisy/aster family.
From the sidewalk garden of a home in the neighborhood.
A flower blooms within my heart
Where it will never, ever part
Forever filling my loving eyes
With its beauty, that never dies
I hold it tenderly in my heart
All through the night, until the start
Of another day, when i will dream
Of the beauty of my floral queen
A floral capture on Cloth, 7mm square or 1/4 inch square frame, just a dot in passing but a small flower in the background of larger things. 100% cotton fabric.

This picture was taken in May last year. The main gates of Victoria Park, Southport,England, the home of the annual 4 day Southport Flower Show, are decorated with thousands of pansies each year.Sadly due to COVID 19 the Show was cancelled last year and will also be shelved this year. HFF.
The Flickr Lounge - favourite things to shoot and why
I can't pass a flowery meadow without stopping to take photographs. These are two of my favourite flowers. Just needed some cornflowers to have the top three.
This was by far the most difficult theme I have ever done since doing themes in Flickr. In my area no box store carries wall paper, online but not in store. There is no wall paper in my house or in the neighborhood, so the idea of chasing Open Houses in the older areas and finally there was one with bright wall paper. Up next to the door trim in a bathroom I was able to finally find a capture.
To paraphrase the old 'bull in a china shop' - here we have 'a phone photographer in a garden centre' :) )) )))
Here's an old floral macro image I found from "The Vault".
I haven't been out taking images for some time due to various reasons; but thankfully have a few images from "the vault" that allows me something I either haven't previously posted , or an older image that I've revisited and given a little different treatment.
Hope you like this!
Thanks in advance for any views, comment or favorite - always very much appreciated!!
Wishing you a fantastic day and week ahead!
