When trying to find the source of stench of a decaying animal of some sort, I saw a garage door slightly opened. I did not want to open the door. I didn't know what I would find. The unknown is much more scarier than the known. It was still rather creepy. I still don't know where the stench is coming from.

Fleetwood lifeboat station has been at the heart of the town, since 1859. There have been six different lifeboat stations, sited in various places, but all near the present station opposite the North Euston Hotel. The current building, shared with HM Coastguard, was opened in 2006.

This was taken from the Knott End Ferry landing jetty and shows the Town and its landmarks just before sunset.
I liked the reflections of the sky in the incoming tide and tried to use the Capstan and ring to give a feel of maritime heritage of this place.
I decided to do a triptych of the wrecks at Fleetwood. I had a good visit there and the light was so good, I felt I had a lot of decent images, but I've already posted a few, so I thought if I put 3 in one triptych, I would then be able to do them justice and move on!!
So here they are in the magical coastal evening light as they struggle to end their existence on the marsh!
