The Koenigsegg Regera is a limited production, plug-in hybrid grand touring sports car manufactured by Swedish automotive manufacturer Koenigsegg. It was unveiled at the March 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The name Regera is a Swedish verb, meaning "to reign" or "to rule." Koenigsegg only plans to produce 80 units of the car, all of which have been sold. The Regera has a reported total power output of 1,340 kW (1,797 hp. The Regera has a claimed, electronically limited top speed of 410 km/h (255 mph). It is capable of accelerating to 100 km/h (62 mph) from a stand still in 2.8 seconds, 300 km/h (186 mph) in 10.9 seconds, and attaining a speed of 400 km/h (249 mph) in 20 seconds. Koenigsegg also claims that the acceleration from 150–250 km/h (93–155 mph) requires 3.9 seconds. On 23 September 2019, the Regera broke the 0–400–0 km/h (0–249–0 mph) acceleration record for a production car with a time of 31.49 seconds.

Built for Mach One Racing ("Harrods Racing") for BPR in 1995, scoring 3 wins and finishing 4th in teams championship. Finished 3rd at 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans. Upgraded to 1996-spec and continued in BPR in 1996, scoring 1 win and finishing 8th in teams championship. Finished 6th at 1996 24 Hours of Le Mans. Sold to Martin Vehle Racing, raced in FIA GT in 1997, failing to score points. Now owned by David Clark, former Sales Director of McLaren Cars.
The Porsche 918 Spyder is a mid-engined plug-in hybrid hypercar designed by Porsche. The Spyder is powered by a naturally-aspirated 4.6 litre V8 engine, developing 608 horsepower (453 kW), with two electric motors delivering an additional 279 horsepower (208 kW) for a combined output of 887 horsepower (661 kW). The 918 Spyder's 6.8 kWh lithium-ion battery pack delivers an all-electric range of 19 km (12 mi) under EPA's five-cycle tests. The car has a top speed of around 340 km/h (210 mph).
The 918 Spyder is a limited edition Hypercar, with 918 units manufactured and sold as a 2014 model year. Production began on September 18, 2013, with deliveries initially scheduled to begin in December 2013. The starting price was US$847,000. The 918 Spyder was sold out in December 2014. The country with the most orders was the United States with 297 units. Production ended in June 2015.

In March 2015, Mercedes-AMG presented the Mercedes-AMG GT3, a race version of the GT, at the Geneva Motor Show, which will employ the M159 6,208 cc V8 naturally aspirated engine also used in the SLS AMG GT3. It consists largely of carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer to decrease the vehicle's weight to under 1,300 kg (2,900 lb) to comply with FIA regulations for races.[8] The GT3 is expected to go on sale in 2016.
