it was hard to get a photo of this one, not only because he was dashing around the tank at a rate of knots, but because I was surrounded by small children screaming, "NEMO!! NEMO!!!"
"Nightmare" from the film "The Lives Of Hamilton Fish" by Rachel Mason
Sculptor, songwriter and performer Rachel Mason’s The Lives Of Hamilton Fish is both an album and a feature film based on a curious true coincidence – two men, both named Hamilton Fish, were pronounced dead on the front page of a newspaper in 1936. One of them was a serial killer, the other a statesman.
The goldfish is also called Hamilton.

these little fish 2-3" long share the burrows of scampi prawns and other burrowing animals. They live at depth on the soft mud and are very wary of divers. I'm amazed to get this close before it scampered off into ints hole

“But nothing i ever gave was good for you;
it was like white bread to goldfish.
they cram and cram, and it kills them,
and they drift in the pool, belly-up,
making stunned faces
and playing on our guilt
as if their own toxic gluttony
was not their own fault
there you are, still outside the window,
still with your hands out, still
pallid and fish-eyed, still acting
stupidly innocent and starved.”

Not for the squeamish...
A Bald eagle that was feeding upon a dead deer (likely hit by a car).
Wildlife if not always pretty. Animals do have to feed to survive. Bald eagles are opportunists. They will hunt for things like fish etc but they will also take full advantage of any available meal, such as a road killed deer.
