Porth Nanven beach Cornwall. Although not clear from this photograph alone it was strange that all the lines in the sand led to this one large boulder, as if in accusation!

Here’s one from Finger Lake which is located about 20 miles outside of Whitefish, Montana. The trail to the lake is about 1.5 miles and has some ups and downs but nothing too hard. This is one that my 3 year old hiked to give you an idea. Speaking of her, I was setting up for this shot and a few minutes before that I had told her to be careful when stepping on rocks because they can be slippery. Sure enough a few minutes later she stepped on a rock and face planted in the cold lake water. Some things you just got to learn from experience.

Guitarists like Peter Pik don't come along all that often. But when they do, it's a breath of fresh air to hear the instrument played unaccompanied and allowed to speak for itself.

Dining outside one of the venerable old pubs in the Grassmarket, right below the Castle. Clearly this food was, as they say, finger lickin' good.

Ragi or Finger Millet (Eleusine coracana ) is the most famous millet in India and reaches from orange to dull brown in variety. It is called finger millet since its earheads are made of a whorl of finger-like spikes. Karnataka represents 40% of the all out region under ragi in India,.. This millet is exceptionally wealthy in calcium, and has generally been utilized as weaning food in South India.
I was on call this weekend and after making a decision to attempt another sunrise shoot, I had my fingers and toes crossed so that 1) there would be a colorful sky for a change, and 2) that i wouldn't get paged in the early morning hours.
Both came true and we even had time for breakfast out at a local restaurant. Feeling very grateful, I finally uncrossed my extremities, and crashed into bed for a nap.
