This is the final call for boarding, or perhaps just the final call before boarding.

This would be the final bridge crossing on the Middle Prong Trail up to Indian Flats Falls. I crossed several bridges like this last year in the Smoky Mountains when I hiked "The Road to Nowhere" down to the Forney Creek Trail and crossed over to the Bear Creek Trail. Their similarities are all the same. It was a good feeling to experience seeing the bridge and walking across one of these again...like seeing an old friend.

Former BNSF SD45-2 6475 sits out its final days as a locomotive. Once one of the most powerful engines for the Santa Fe before the Wide bodies, it now sits with just its cab nose and part of it's frame still intact. Sadly the 20 cylinder beast love their fuel too much and most railroads have purged them off of their fleets and after sitting years in deadlines waiting for new leases on live they are now being purged off lease fleets for more fuel efficient and new locomotives. The SD45's 45-2's 45T's are on the chopping block at NRE currently who knows how many will be left after this.

Michigan Shore train Z627 is rolling off the last two miles of their southbound Journey to interchange with CSX at Holland MI. CSX's Holland yard is only about a half mile in front of them but the crew will have to roll past it and shove in from the east end as the Fremont sub connects to the main in the middle of the yard. The train consists of mostly loaded Chara ash cars that are bound for the ash dump in Essexville MI. This business is roughly 10 cars a day, 5 days a week for about the next 2 years as an environmental clean up takes place at the former B.C. Cobb plant in Muskegon MI. The call colors are just starting to peak in this area but are still a couple weeks away at this point.

Outro ciclo chegando ao fim...

My final morning on Fuerteventura and a decent sunrise greeted me, found these rocks for a bit of a focal point

For just a little while we have the power,

Given at the moment of our birth,

To manifest the care of the Creator

Upon these darkly shadowed plains of earth.

Only for the the spanning of a lifetime,

Be that long, or tiny-heartbeat short,

We may touch the essence of another

And gift away the love which we have brought.

With passing years, the soul may not remember

Those larger realms, eternal and divine

From whence it came. And be content to linger

And feast on coarser bread and lesser wine.

Thus we may use up the hours and minutes,

The days and months of our alloted time,

Wrapped within a dark cocoon of doing,

Doubting there's a reason in the rhyme.

Until some yearning, shuttered by the senses,

Breaks illusion's bonds, to rise in flight,

Awakening a deep subconscious knowing

That all are One, and Life is Love and Light.

This is an updated version, of my original photo called Final B&F, which you can view at the link here www.flickr.com/photos/31391486@N04/23752436336/in/datepos...

Now, I've taken this image a little bit further by enhancing the saturation even better. In fact, I have my own technique that goes just beyond the saturation\vibrance in sliders! It has been done using multiple layers using various blending modes. I will write about my process on my blog some time. I've got another version or this image coming up, in which example I've also used a layer mask, a little bit differently in each case. If you follow the link above you can see the progress that I've been experienced.

Final de un día invernal, apacible y sereno.

As a small wizard, Rupert never dreamt to reach the final boss. He was playing the game long enough, to know that only the biggest and bravest players can reach the top. But he did it, after countless hours of preparation, and now was his time to shine. So he pointed his staff forward and jumped…

An SH-64B Sea Apache and an AH-1W Cobra are doing the final preparations for a CAS mission.

So yes I uploaded something! I have built a lot of stuff in the past month. I was just looking for some inspiration when I came across the proposals of Boeing for a navilized Apache, which I decided to build. As you can see the rotorblades can fold and another difference with the AH-64A is the landing gear. I am really happy with how it turned out and the Apache now fits to minifigs, while my old Apache could not fit 2 pilots.

Also I updated my Cobra a little bit, lengthened the engines and changed the cockpit. I really like these two together though the Sea Apache never saw service, nor with the navy nor with the Marines.

Let me know what you think! Comments and critisism are always welcome!

2902 recien llegada a Ribadeo después de realizar el viaje del tren turístico "Faros de Galicia"

1984 was the final summer for the Class 46's, all had gone by the end of November

46 010 was the only class member I saw that day, working 1E22, the 10:04 Newquay - Newcastle seen passing Langstone Rock. She only made it as far as Gloucester though, being replaced by 45 150 after suffering a failed turbo

Although not officially withdrawn until 4th November, 46 010 only had a couple of months or so left in service, not turning a wheel in anger after 20th August

Happily 46 010 is now preserved and looking superb since restoration was completed in 2019

ESA astronaut Tim Peake is seen during the final fit check of his spacesuit ahead of the International Space Station spacewalk scheduled for 15 January.

He will venture outside of the International Space Station together with NASA astronaut Timothy Kopra to replace a failed voltage regulator to return power to one of eight power channels. The spacewalk is expected to last 6.5 hours.

Tim's six-month mission is named Principia, after Isaac Newton’s ground-breaking Naturalis Principia Mathematica, which describes the principal laws of motion and gravity. He is performing more than 30 scientific experiments for ESA and taking part in numerous others from ESA’s international partners.

ESA and the UK Space Agency have partnered to develop many exciting educational activities around the Principia mission, aimed at sparking the interest of young children in science and space.

Sunset by the temporary doc on the Calgary Reservoir. Likely the last shot of this provisional structure, it is built of square plastic interlocking bricks. It's purpose was to give sailboats a place to moor until next year when the regular doc will go back into service. Now removed, winter's ice will soon replace it.
