DB Cargo Class 66s 66187 and 66083, wearing RHTT livery, draw to a halt at Birmingham New Street with the 13:12 Bescot T.M.D to London Euston RHTT.
A Class 37 on RHTT duties, as it turns out, is very similar to a pornographic novel!
DRS no. 37606 pauses at Ely P2, checked by a red signal whilst working 3S60, the 0903 Anglia RHTT circuit from/to Stowmarket DGL via Colchester, most of Suffolk & most of Norfolk. 57301 "Goliath" was on the rear.
I've not seen bubbles this good for many a year*.

The (unfinished) patio got its annual wash today ('bout time we got it tiled). And that made a right old mess of my shoes, time to get some new ones I think.
An incredibly rich, fudgy chocolate cake, topped with chocolate-covered strawberries and slices of chocolate, with shots of white and dark chocolate (and milk) on the side, plus a little touch of mousse, all topped with swirls of -- duh -- chocolate.
I never thought I would say there was any such thing, but it was actually too much chocolate.

The other RHTT diagram featuring Class 37s can be found operating out of Carlisle Kingmoor TMD, working along the Tyne Valley Line. DRS no's 37059 & 37422 accelerate noisily through Carlisle P4 working 3S77, the 1020 Railhead Treatment Train from Kingmoor to Newcastle & back.
Right at sunset, a filthy P42 bangs across the bridge over Milwaukee Avenue on Chicago's northwest side with Hiawatha Service train 339. Siemens Chargers have taken over regular operation of the Hiawathas, so one must have been out of service for one reason or other.

McDermott-Bunger Dairy Co. is painted on the building in the center left of the photograph. As of 1903, this dairy company was
located at 527 West 125th Street. There are 10 kids, all but one seem to be barefoot, playing in the street gutter and around puddles of raw sewage, all within in a few feet of a dead horse. They seem completely unbothered and disinterested in it's existence. They don't even seem slightly out-of-sorts, caught up in the moment of play and Joseph Byron's lense.
Joseph Byron's goal as a photographer was to show the plight of the poor and disadvantaged, calling the public's attention and that of the insensitive upperclass that ignored them.

The entrance to the North Draw storm drain was very deep and muddy. Darkday got really dirty and muddy and wet. But it was worth it because the storm drain was old and made of brick and very beautiful. We took lots of photographs and had an exciting adventure into the dark underground
