Worst Leeds operated Wright-Heap-of-crap bodied Volvo Boring7RLE passes preserved Optare bodied TL11 engined Leyland Olympian 5507 in Leeds City Square. This was doing shuttles from the TYPG Leeds 2009 event held at Elland Road. Once a common sight in Leeds, this now makes a plesant change from the endles stream of Cerise & Filth coloured plastic that fills the street these days - ie: like what's heading to Wigton Moor on this shot....

So I'm sitting here downloading the last of the shots with Hannah before I head back to Oklahoma. I've had a total blast and not only that, but have got a chance to create some stunning art. Hannah is not only a terrific photographer, but a wonderful model as well. This is the same set of abandoned buildings from yesterday's upload and it is quite a place to shoot. I can't wait to come back so that we can shoot here again, maybe next time when it's not ridiculously hot. Both of us are completely wiped out and I still have to drive home. I think the coolest thing this trip is seeing how much both of us have improved over the last year. I'm headed home, hope you guys are enjoying the last few months of summer! I have lots of my work from this weekend that I will be editing after I get a really good night of sleep.
Gamla stan dates back to the 13th century, and consists of medieval alleyways, cobbled streets, and archaic architecture. North German architecture has had a strong influence in the Old Town's construction.
The present alleys only give a vague glimpse of the appearance of the medieval city where the gables of the building were facing the streets and contained window bays for offering goods of sale; where filth, the bumpy paving and hand-drawn vehicles made walking circumstantial; and where odours and scents from dung, food, fishes, leather, furnaces, and seasonal spices mingled. During nights (and certainly during the long winters) the city was completely dark, save for exceptional fire watchers and nocturnal ramblers who used torches to find their bearing.
