Aaand another round of photos from my first film swap with Yutaka/Prestonbot.
Ah, to be a child once again when these things meant the world and were some big adventure and so much fun! (Sometimes it still is when I get the chance to find an empty playground.)
Series: "Norwich, UK x Oʻahu, USA"
Cameras: Cardboard Pinhole Cameras
Film: Fujifilm Superia 200
Locations: Norwich, UK and O‘ahu, Hawai‘i, USA
This is one in a series of images taken collaboratively with fellow pinholer, The Old Penhold. We both each exposed a roll of film, rewound it, and then mailed it to the other. The film was re-exposed, developed, and the multiple-exposed images assimilated.
Preconceived ideas of the other's photographic style and usual subject matter are often considered in these types of "collaborations", but the final outcome of the images is mostly left to serendipity and chance.

More results from my first ever film swap - Fuji Neopan Acros 100 run through Tokyo by guin, then around Brighton by me, both shooting with Holgas. Tim left the wrong mask in, so I freestyled.

This is a filmswap project I did with my friend Rawles. He shot a roll of film with his Canon F-1 & I shot a roll with my Olympus OM-2SP, then we traded re-wound films & he double-exposed my roll & I double-exposed his. The resulting double-exposures are completely random mash-ups.

Double Exposures from Scotland:
Scott Hunter and I did a film swap, I’ve only just got it developed after a few months of busy travelling and hard work. Double exposures are so hit and miss, but when they work, they work beautifully. I have a big love for double exposures and going beyond just “taking a photo” on film. It’s a lot of fun and you never know what to expect in your results.
Scott, from Scotland took some photos on the film, then sent it down to me and I shot over the film again, in Amsterdam and various places in my hometown (Surrey/London).
If anyone else is interested in doing a film swap (worldwide) - feel free to message me! :-)

I lent my friend Sharon my fisheye camera loaded with Kodak Gold 200. She shot some fire in St Anns Well Gardens and I then rewound the film, put it in my vivitar UWS and reshot it. This is one of the few that came out with any trace of the first shot.
