This is a photo from the international "EBS" filmswap project with a great photographer fotobes from UK.

"Exposing Both Sides of the Film (EBS)" is one of the most unique lomography's technique. First, Toby shot on normal/correct side of negative film, with a boat in Shoreham Harbour, just outside Brighton at dusk. After reversed the film, I started shooting on reversed/redscale side. I shot at Lake Shizenko in Nagano. This lake is noted for its eccentric scenery with withered and skeletal trees. Nice mix of these objects!

I have an ongoing film swap project with a few people around the world. We each shoot a roll or two of film and mail it to the other person to shoot whatever they wish. It's been a lot of fun.

Here Martin Klöckner (IG @mkfoto.ch) exposed a roll of film with Teddy (IG @_teddy_321_) in Switzerland then mailed it to me. I took the film for a walk along east Toronto's "Secret Beach".

Even though we were both using Hasselblahs, the frame registration was no especially good but that is to be expected.

Film swap again with my wife, Amy Chu. She first shot the roll with her Minolta X-700, then rewound the films and gave it to me, and I shot the roll with second layer of bokeh at night by my Nikon FM.

Clara posted an idea and it took off in two directions. Film and digital double exposure. Of course I choose film! I partnered up with Phillip from Canada. He had a roll of film and shot it all in one day and then sent it off to me. I had no idea what he shot and we wanted to keep it a secret. I loaded the film with the hope many of the shots would line up pretty good and we got some fun images out of it.

This one is my favorite. Thanks again to Clara and Phillip.

When Mike McLean and I decided to work on a filmswap project together, we were keen to try something a little different.. Knowing Mike’s expertise with pinhole cameras, we agreed to attempt a series of swaps using one of Mike’s Noon pinhole cameras (this image was shot with a 6x12), and a Lomography LC-A 120 (with overlapping frames on this image). The medium format 120 was chosen as they felt at that stage that this would allow for a better chance of getting frames accurately aligned.. For this image. I shot the observation balloon in France, and Mike shot a participant in Brighton's Pride Parade..

Lomo Lovers Film Swap 2012 with Russell Darling. Lomo LC-A+ , Fuji Sensia 200 x-pro

Taken from a double exposed roll where I managed to get the alignment all wrong, despite marking the film and carefully reloading it too. Things still worked out OK though and I don't mind the half frames at all.

Kodak Elitechrome 100

Shot first time round at 200 ISO then the second at 100 ISO.

From the "EBS (Exposing both sides of the film) swap project with my favorite photographer Catfordst32. This is a second roll.

First, I shot on normal/correct side of negative film, a statue of Virgin Mary at a theme park called "Little World" in Aichi. After I finished a roll, I "reversed" the film in a dark room and sent to her. She set it into the LC-A and then started shooting on reversed/redscale side. She shot a sunset scene at a street in Nagoya City. Thus my normal/negative layer and her redscaled layer overlapped randomly in one film. It's really fun to see unexpected result, and this shot is one of my favorite :)
