hodachrome and I have recently completed another film soup swap .. This roll started off in UK, and here I shot low down at Angel tube station in London, and then when posted to Japan, hodachrome shot an old tunnel in Yaotsu Town, Gifu.
On finishing the roll, Hodaka "cooked" the film using this recipe here.

This is from my film swap project with an awesome Lomographer named Qrro. I truly love this shot and while most of the shots from this project didn't turn out as planned, this one was just spot on. This is why I love it so much!
This was shot with film, exposed first in Peru and then again in California, absolutely no cross-processing at all.
Filmswap with myself using an Olympus XA2 & expried Agfa RSX II 100. Cross processed. First shot in the V&A museum, second shot Louis Vuitton window on Bond St.

The eye got a little lost in this one...
Film swap with Captain Bonobo who shot a roll of Expired Fuji Astia then rewound the film and gave it to me to shoot over hence creating double exposures.

lomo, лomo, lomography... i still cannot figure out why some (well a lot) of people would give such embezzled arguments about this; on as a "gimmick" for marketing, a "shithead photography" and that the people who are into these things are dumb-ass and always "shoots from the hip" that they don't know what real "Photography" means.
well i will be still continuing taking snapshots with my LCA whatever, whenever, wherever i like. it captures good memories of my life be it whatever the result is. i don't need to have my photos as perfect as your effin shots. i just want to take life as it is. they're just like a bunch of little kids who really need to grow up.
My brother shot a roll of Lucky 200 in his diana mini and then gave it to me and i shot the roll again in my Olympus XA2 creating these double exposures.

Double Exposure collaboration with Rebecca...
Lomo LCA vs Olympus XA2 + some rare Agfa Precisa 200 + xpro
Not a bad combination if you ask me. Such a happy incident that this photo combines two images of different plants and they seem to grow out of the same place.

2 people
+ 2 cameras
+ 1 roll of film
= FILM SWAP!
After I said here on Flickr that I'd like to try a film swap, a few people responded and we decided to collaborate. The first film swap was with Yutaka/Prestonbot. Each of us shot a roll of film and then sent it to the other (to Canada or to Germany). Luckily enough, both film rolls made it to their transatlanitc destination without any harm, and the results are awesome I think.
These here are some of my favourites.
Film swap project with great photographer Fotobes from UK. This is 2nd leg, from UK to Japan. Check out his amazing photostream.
He shot the "London Eye" ferris wheel on London's "South Bank". I shot "Nagoya Castle", the symbol of Nagoya City, Japan. With a splitzer masked with half below of the lense.

The results of my first film swap run. I exposed the film first then passed it over to Hobgrumble to run it through his camera. This time around I used a Zenit E and Hobgrumble a Zenit 11
the talented gocchin takes some amazing self-swap splitzer shots in black and white, and when he suggested that we try these as a film-swap, i was more than happy. he's not on flickr, but you can check out the lomography site for his work.. in this image, gocchin shot the top half (hong kong skyscrapers) and i shot the lower frame only, with my son felix on the beach in hove. we didn't confer on subjects, just agreeing that he would shoot top half frame and i would shoot lower half frame. (due to flickr glitches this was put up and taken down yesterday..)

I have recently completed another film swap with the wonderful hodachrome.. This roll started off in Japan, where he shot a small river at "The Daio Wasabi Farm" in Azumino City, Nagano - one of Japan's largest wasabi (Japanese horseradish) farms, then on arrival in the UK, I shot a foot passage on London's South Bank.
On completing the roll, I mixed together some boiled water with silica gel and washing detergent, and left it to cool a little. Then I went into my make-shift darkroom and pulled out the film from the canister. Next I flicked and dabbed the "soup" onto the exposed film. I waited for a few minutes and then rewound the film into the canister. Afterwards I went to the kitchen and dropped the film into just-boiled water, and after 5 minutes I transferred it into cold water for a minute. Then back in the darkroom I pulled the film out from the canister again and dried it with a hairdryer, and when done I rewound the film. The film was then developed at Asda, and scanned at The Vault in Brighton (the Lomography lab in London refused to process it).

From a filmswap with the awesome captainbonobo. This probably wouldn't have made it on to the list of 'keepers' had it not been for that gull, shot in Brighton, creeping in. Nice one chief.

Another image from my film-soup film-swap with the wonderful hodachrome.. This roll started off in Japan, where he shot a zebra crossing outside Central Towers at Nagoya Station, then on arrival in the UK, I shot rape seed plants in a field in Hampshire..
