Hope there's enough paella to go round.
The economy of the area surrounding Itrabo is agriculture-based, especially the cultivation of fruit. Itrabo is a traditional Andalucian village made of small whitewashed houses and narrow streets winding their way up the mountainside. The surroundings are rugged and mountainous, yet Itrabo is only a short drive from the coast. Itrabo has many hectares of vineyards, which produce its exquisite wines, famous in the whole of Andalucia. The mosto wine is of such high quality that local Itrabo producers compete in an annual wine festival at which all the different wines can be tasted, and the prize for best mosto of the year is awarded. The Itrabo wine is accompanied by bread baked in the traditional manner, in wood-fired ovens, and with traditional pastries.
Este año Monreal (Navarra) ha celebrado sus fiestas en honor de Nuestra Señora de la Natividad por todo lo alto, después de que en los dos últimos años se suspendieran debido al COVID.
Las fiestas arrancan con el chupinazo del 7 de septiembre, víspera de la patrona, y se prolongan durante 5 días en los que el pueblo parece otro, lleno de gente, actividades tan variopintas como concierto de mariachis (muy populares en Navarra) o el concurso de lanzamiento de bacalao seco, todo ello regado con mucho alcohol. Los niños compran petardos en los puestos y cada noche hay "torico de fuego", una especie de encierro donde el toro es una estructura de metal cubierta de petardos y bengalas.

Passed on by the Spaniards during their 300 years colonial rule fiestas to this present day continue to be a core element of Filipino culture. Although it was originally observed to honor a saint or to commemorate a religious event, the fiesta has become more secularized and now celebrates the founding of a specific "barrio" or town.
During a fiesta, almost every household prepares a feast of scrumptious food. Thus, the whole day is spent mostly house-hopping from one feast to another. Guests from other towns are especially invited and are treated with gracious hospitality. Some towns have developed unique traditions specific to that town.

Segundo dia en el pueblo gallego de Sabucedo donde se celebra la lucha de los caballos contra los hombres, en la llamada "Rapa das Bestas"(Shearing of the Beasts). Una tradicion declarada fiesta de interes turistico nacional, que durante tres dias mantiene revolucionada toda la comarca.

I finally have collected all eleven colors of the vintage Fiesta line in the same item: the 5" fruit bowl. Not the best photo, but wanted to share. The colors in the photo are actually rather close to the actual colors.

19.00h – Jaleo en sa Plaça Constitució
The cavalcade makes its way to the Plaça Constitució for the Jaleo, which is where the band plays the music of the fiesta and the horses jump and move amongst the people.
Following this the cavalcade completes es Caragol, which is the lap around the central streets of the town.
