I was watching my favorite series of all time, "sex and the city" and that is my inspiration for this shoot.
From the Juicy Bloodhound, Paprihaven's premiere gossip publication.
In a stunning fashion coup, Jenny and Winky have secured exclusive rights for the Daredevil Sindy fashions in Paprihaven!
It was widely assumed that Fashion Boss Anova, the wealthy owner of the upscale Kobori Boutique in the Paprihaven Mall*, would score the DDS line.
Jenny and Winky's much smaller boutique, Possibilities**, also in the Paprihaven Mall, fought fiercely for the rights.
Jenny said, "Sindy made it clear it wasn't just money. We could have a lower bid, but she wanted to see in us the spirit of strong girls that she represents! So we fought for the license just like Daredevil Sindy would fight!"
Winky added, "Mm-Hm!"
Possibilities' initial offerings are the iconic silhouette of Daredevil Sindy along with the popular phrases.
Shown here at their boutique, Tammy wears the DDS blouse. Winky sports the DDS iron-on patch. Eva Marie proudly displays the white tee. And Jenny models the logo sleeve.

I wasn't a huge fan of Lukas Maverick's convertible jeans but I applaud the way Integrity Toys always strive to bring collectors high quality fashion pieces inspired by the latest runway looks. In this case I believe the inspiration was the Balenciaga Spring 2018 runway show. I am also a huge fan of fashion pieces that have multiple different uses whether simply the use of separates or reversible items or capsule pieces that can be mixed and matched in different ways. So I thought I would try out some possible different looks with these pants aside from wearing them full length as shown in my last set of photos. The pants can be worn at three lengths: full length, cropped just below the knee and short shorts. The sections are held together by hooks and loops fixed at the inner and outer seam at each level. I also challenged myself to use only the items that came with him to create these looks (okay I added a rugby ball prop!) so I decided that Lukas should wear the shoes that he came with.
Verdict:
Top marks to Integrity for providing this item of clothing which not only reflects a current runway trend but is also obviously more labour intensive to produce than a simple pair of jeans.
I actually really like the cropped pants look and they work well with just the shirt and the shoes. Take off the leather jacket and the lower section of the pants and suddenly Lukas is more casual, windswept and beach-ready! I am really pleased with this look :-
Short shorts - hmmm! A difficult look to pull off but I think Lukas manages it! I can't help being reminded of those 1970s footballers who wore super short shorts. But I do believe some recent runway trends are featuring short shorts so I'll need to go and draw more inspiration from there. I think the short shorts also have potential with a little more styling work.
The shoes were a little tricky to put on but I used a section of split straw which I slid inside the shoe then used as a shoe horn to get Lukas's heel into the shoe. They are a nice snug fit and a good size once they are on - unlike some Integrity male shoes which sometimes look a bit too big.
