Oh Bugger! A friend of mine sent me this photo he made after I told him that our town, Murrieta's branch of Fashion Bug was closing and Fashion Bug was going out of business, kind-a sad in a way, Fashion Bug's parent company, whom also owns DressBarn, Justice! Just for Girls! and Maurices and now owns Lane Bryant and Catherines has decided to spray for Fashion Bugs, we can only hope all the folks who work in this stores will find a new place to work, as for the Cal Oaks Plaza branch (Murrieta) I'll upload some photos I took as soon as the roll is full!

Fashion Fragrance Darci was the last and only doll released in 1981.
Darci came scented with perfume and also came with a bottle of perfume for the child. She also came with a comb and mirror. My particular Darci is not from the box so I don't have those items yet.
There are a couple of differences with this Darci to original issue Darci. She has non bending arms, which are actually very graceful. She also has a different hair style. The hair is parted to the right and the rooting at the sides looks more realistic than previous.
There are some toy fair pictures that also show Dana in the same outfit but she is listed as Darci on the box art. Sadly she was never

Fashion designers from Milan, Paris, New York and Tokyo will collaborate with local fashion designers and retailers for HONOLULU Fashion Week, which was announced by HONOLULU Magazine at the event. Special activities featuring these designers and retailers will take place in early November. The event is co-sponsored by the Japan International Fashion Fair.
HONOLULU Fashion Week will be a new component of Hawaii Fashion Month, which was started by the Department of Business, Economic Development & Tourism and the Hawaii Fashion Incubator last year.
