What do you do when you're bored on a Saturday night? Climb Pen Y Fan at 1am on your tod and take photos of the Milky Way :) NOT for the faint hearted! I was in complete darkness.

After the 2013 flood, the Alluvial fan area in Rocky Mountain National Park is now a very broad and rocky area through which this waterway seems to meander.
Fan Bay.
The snow bunting was on the main track/road from Reach road to South Foreland this morning but very close to it's previous location. Just whether it hung around or not I don't know as an excavator clanked along the track just after I left it.
this one's mainly about color & light but using a bit of geometry to give it a fan like appearance....even shades of Art Deco

Crepidotus is a genus of fungi in the family Crepidotaceae. Species of Crepidotus all have small, convex to fan-shaped sessile caps and grow on wood.
A "joyful" confusion of tiny Fan Palm threads pealing away on the older fans. A bit of plant "Jazz" ;))
