This was taken last fall at the Cumberland Fair here in Maine. This is a composite of several long exposures. The blurs against the black are seats. There were very few riders on this night so most are empty. HSS
Europes largest Fair with its incredible selection of rides and side stalls...The Fair as been coming to Hull since the 13th century. .It has more than 300 attractions and 80 rides for the younger ones plus numerous food stalls..

I didn't appreciate the beauty of the desert back when I was in the military probably because I wanted to see the world and they sent me to Texas.... three times.... Instead of enjoying the beauty around me I pined tor the rolling hills of Missouri. Too bad I hadn't developed my camera fetish back then.
This is Banks Lake, directly across from Steamboat Rock State Park, one HECK of a great spot for photo ops. Tonia and I and some good friends go every September once the kiddo's go back to school.

This is a fair weather waterspout, the photo was taken at sunrise at Panama City Beach, FL. There are 2 kinds, the other one is a tornadic waterspout which is associated with Cumulonimbus clouds and causes more damage. This one comes from a row of Cumulus clouds. Fujifilm X100F. I should add that my village (Markyate in Hertfordshire) thinks of itself as 'traditional'. Therefore, they would spell fair with an additional e - May Faire.
