Left to Right:
Colonial Defenders ā While some are former rebels, enforcers, or Imperials, many battle-trained colonists hail from planetary guard forces or other backgrounds. With intelligence and grit, they stand ready against any pirate, thief, or warlord who gives their colonies even a second glance.
Mon Quaramari Farmer ā A hybrid from the world of Mon Cala, and a living example of reconciliation between enemies. This farmer takes the time and effort to care for the land well, and reaps the rewards.
Talz Forester ā His duty is to make sure the forest and the animals that live within are healthy, and that the trees suitable for carbonculling are in good condition when it comes time to harvest.
Duros Droidsmith ā Droids make life easier in the frontier colonies, but not every freed Imperial-slave-turned-colonist has the know-how to keep them up-and-running. This Duros travels from colony to colony to fix, teach, and help where he can.
Mato Rook ā Once an enforcer for the Hutts, Mato escaped criminal servitude to a peaceful life on Wayland. There he found a family and a purpose, and a love for the seven-string halikset.
Mirialan Child ā She gave mom and dad the slip to hear the music from across the field. Chores are dumb. She wants to dance!
Drall Colonist ā This elderly female is past the point of doing much field work, instead she stays in the village center and teaches the children. But music has always been one of her passions, and sheās not too old to show it.
Zabrak Engineer ā A gearhead who maintains the villageās skimmers and iontractors. She prefers order, logic, and cause-and-effect. Music fits into that perfectly, so she happily accompanies Mato on her handmade synthetic gnarlhorn.
Dubravan Defender ā Once a member of a Coruscant martial warrior guild, this farmer takes a few days a week to watch for dangerous wildlife and prepare other defenders, just in case.

I was originally going to continue the story of the Clan Eldar Mandalorianās pursuing rogue Imperial agents from my recent Ziost build, this challenge came at the right time. Pretty pleased with this as a whole, bar the back wall it is all SNOT built. This is intended to display a wealthy mandalorian matriarch whoās son is one of the imperial agents. It is on discovery of the agent that Clan Eldar discover Pyerce has returned... Images now on black background
Spider Tribe:
Within the treacherous crags that the vile and cunning goblins inhabit there can be found many terrors of the deep. From the colossal Crag Wyrm to the venomous arachnids, there is a deadly end to every dark and twisted tunnel.
Crafty as they are, the cruel goblins saw uses for these monstrous creatures, and set about testing various mounts as beasts of war. The Crag Wyrm proved to be a disastrous attempt, for although it crushed through enemy lines, the long bodied beast then turn upon the orcish infantry, leaving the battlefield a corpse strewn ruin.
The spiders, however, turned out to be a more fruitful endeavor for the green skinned menaces. The many types and sizes of spiders found throughout the crags and beyond are nearly as cunning as the goblins, possessing a rare intellect for such a deadly beast. The goblins were able to successfully coax the beasts into battle with sacrifice and offerings, and later managed to strap together wooden platforms to the large insects.
Skittering around the battlefield in a horrific manner, the deadly spiders impale their enemy on sharp talons or stab their foes with venomous pincers. The goblins riding the arachnids stab down ruthlessly with spear or whip the enemy from atop their living, crawling perch. Terrorizing the enemy on every field of battle, the Spider Tribe are indeed a deadly foe of the deep.
Location: Grid Square L13, Iridonia
Names: Imperial Troopers, Captain Jones, Baltaca Clan Members.
Species: Various
Faction: Imperial Consortium
Captain Jones led a squad of battle-hardened veterans through Iridonia, to investigate the dealings of the Baltaca Clan. They find high-ranking members dealing with crime syndicate members, for refined spice. The members are questioned, then eliminated.
The building was cleared and the spice was confiscated. It was subsequently redistributed amongst a clan of Shell Hutts to maintain trade.

They landed at 12:00 standard hours. Ambria's bright star scorches the cracked soil. Coda never thought much of the worlds they visited, but this one had a strange aura to it. Puffy smoke plumes white as snow rose from the hills and geysers around them. It was a barren world, but one possessing a wild beauty untouched by industry or pollution.
Captain Neimor thought it best to split Bravura squad in twain, with the smaller team leading initial reconnaissance . Coda, Dolore and Ferroce were all versed in drop insertions behind enemy lines, but Ambria featured none of those. To add to the bizarre situation, they were paired up with two ex-ISB field agents. Vice and Segen didn't talk much, their reputations precedes them.
Their target was a small homestead two clicks north of the drop point. Small huts carved into the hillside, with natural springs to provide water and geothermal energy supply. They inquired with the locals about Pyerce's troop movements, their presence on the planet is a dangerous possibility. The ex-ISB agents reported back their findings, even soil samples. There was no sign of hostiles, just some lone Togruta colonists in the middle of nowhere...

Beehive Slingsting:
Halflings are an inventive race who commonly express a form of rustic ingenuity. They create quite pleasingly marvelous farming implements and machines. From the Halfling Harvester to the now universally used moldboard plow, they put their quick witted brains to work when it comes to food and producing more of it.
Much the same can be said for the Halflings that proudly defend their beloved homes in times of peril. The short-folk have a comfy affinity for the wild honey combs that can be found in the lush, green forests that dot the rural farmlands in The Green. Young halflings will venture out into the woods and bravely harvest the beehives, snipping the branch that the hive is on and scurrying home with the valued sweets.
It is not known whom specifically thought of putting the large beehives into an oversized slingshot, but itās effectiveness in battle is not argued. Launching over the friendly troops in a great arc, the missile of the Beehive Slingsting smashed into the enemy ranks, spraying stinky honey on the foes. This may not seem like a particularly impressive war machine at this point, but it is what comes after that is truly impressive. Thousands of bees then explode from the combs of the hive and douse the enemy in lethal stings.
One or two of these bees can just be swatted away like a fly, but when hundreds upon hundreds attack a single target, it causes considerable death and confusion among the foe. Battle lines falter as the enemy vainly attempts to flee the furious bees, and without fail, shortly there is a corpse on the ground, bloated and puss filled by the hundreds of poisonous stings.
Each Beehive Slingsting is overseen by a cantankerous and wizened Halfling. He barks out targets after looking through his eyeglass, always seeming to be in a dark mood at seeing the valuable, and tasty, honey being flung away into the hands of the enemy.

RƤmhohptep, King of Kings:
Across the barren desert of the south, as far as the eye can see, where the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, lies the kingdom of the Desert Ancients. Thousands of years ago stretched the greatest empire known to mankind. Kingdoms flourished and people rejoiced for all they had. Bountiful cities connected with plentiful trade routes. Enemies were squashed beneath the harsh hand of this empire, and of the one who led them, RƤmhohptep, the King of Kings.
A vain and egotistical visionary, the only thing that stretched further than RƤmhohptepās kingdom was his thirst for unending power. Tyrannical with his leadership, he led the armies of the old empire through war after war, campaign after campaign, until all of the known world was under his rule. RƤmhohptepās vision of ultimate power was so great, however, that it remained within him as his body, now withered from old age in the greatest kingdom ever ruled, was laid to rest in the greatest tomb ever created.
This need for unending power and authority, the need to conquer all that was, remained in RƤmhohptep for millennia, slowly coalescing and forming into a power so great that it could no longer be contained. The settled sands on his tomb sifted, the seals of his magnificent sarcophagus released, and out stepped RƤmhohptep, no longer living, but now forever unliving.
The gold of his immaculate armor is a stark contrast to his tattered cloths and weathered bones, but RƤmhohptep holds a power so great that all quell beneath his wrath. He has risen all the Tomb Pharaohs from their pyramid crypts and now commands the greatest undead army ever witnessed.
Charging into battle atop a magnificent chariot made of ancient bone and wielding khopesh of unrelenting power, RƤmhohptep has reclaimed his once great kingdom, now an empty land of sand and bone. One of the most famous duelists in single combat, RƤmhohptepās skill is legendary as he is able to wield his immaculate glaive and deadly khopesh with unrelenting power. His anger uncontainable, the armies of the King of Kings have amassed to conquer all before them and to rule as it once hadā¦
During the early part of the 2070ās the Yakuza families that had set up in Chicago clashed in a bloody, protracted war. Of the seven families that existed at the start of the war, only three remained afterwards. Of those three the Syndicate is by far the strongest and has spent the years since the end of the Yakuza Wars establishing their dominance over nearly every facet of organized crime in Chicago. They have become so powerful that many of their operations hardly have to cover up their activities. The Syndicate operates out of the Sanguine Rose, the premiere brothel and night club in Chicago, located on the mid level near the Japanese memorial square.
Despite their fearsome reputation, which is well deserved, the Syndicate operates under traditional Yakuza tendencies, such as forbidding its members from the activity of petty thievery as this would be a trespass against the community. Their most profitable activity is trafficking of Glimmerdust, a highly addictive combination of opiates and pixie wing dust. The Syndicate works to keep street violence in Old Towne under control, for which they collect a ātaxā from local shop owners and residents at times. Most happily pay this fee as the street gangs of Old Towne would quickly get out of hand if not for the Syndicate.
To supplement its Municipal Defense Fleet, Haelos Star Yards has introduced a line of light cruisers in addition to its larger vessels.
Smaller than its Vausi-class brother, the S-25 Savaran is designed for escort duty and light skirmishes as its primary roles. Each of its side hull trenches is home to a dual heavy turbolaser emplacement, and a single point-defence rotating turbolaser provides cover for its bridge section, which contains extensive comms equipment.
HSY intends on producing a substantial number of light cruisers, both for its own purposes as well as for sale to the various vying factions which require vessels to replenish their fleets.

My first build for Star Wars Factions, after all these years. I designed this to couple with LamborghiniWaffleSauce's Factions ship, and if all goes to plan you'll be able to see them displayed together at Bricktastic in February.
Every Megacity needs a way to keep order and Chicago is no different. However, Chicago is much larger than most other Megacities, with Hong Kong being the one obvious exception, and as such just cannot seem to keep up with the needed numbers for police officers. Being perpetually short handed has led to a number of changes in recent years, the main one being that Police generally donāt go to Old Towne. Theyāre far too busy maintaining the peace on the upper level where the elite and corporations pay them to be and on the mid level where many of the manufacturing and industrial interests of those same people are.
While the main body of the CPD tends to stay out of Old Towne this isnāt to say that all police are like minded. sometimes all it takes is one good cop to make a difference and no matter how jaded the department may have become, some remember that.
Feral Mammoth:
As the War Chiefs of the Brayherd sound the War Horns and muster their cruel tribes, the beasts of the herd gather all manner of savage horrors to accompany the War Herd. The Feral Mammothās are one such ferocious horror that the Brayherd has captured and utilized.
Originally hunted as sources of meat on the wide, wild plains of the west, the large and docile mammoths were the perfect prey for the Brayherd tribes. Over time, several members of the herd captured these gentle beasts and tortured them for their cruel pleasure. As they chained and tortured the large mammoths, the great beasts began to submit to the will of their masters. Their docile nature was replaced with an insatiable bloodlust for battle, carnage and death.
The Fauncor tribes that twisted these once majestic creatures into savage beasts found that the bull mammoths were best suited for battle, for they are the larger and naturally more aggressive members of the wild herds.
Strapping rotted wooden planks and sticks together and crudely nailing them into the hide of the now feral beast to form battle platforms, the Fauncor created a terribly ferocious war beast that is larger than the size of a tribal hut. One Fauncor is needed to whip and direct the savage mammoth in direction of the enemy, while another Fauncor stands atop the crude platform, stabbing down at the enemy with a rusty, forked spear.
The Feral Mammoth thunders into the battle line with a thunderous roar that can be herd for miles as the cruel and ferocious beast is finally able to satiate itās never ending bloodlust. It stomps in whatever is in front of it, be it friend or for, and can club enemies hundreds of feet with its long, sharp tusks. Truly a terrible sight to behold, the Feral Mammoth strikes fear into any who face it on the field of battle.

During the time of the Old Republic a Jedi task force, led by the Cathar Jedi Master Kainai, was sent to examine a powerful dark side current in the force uncovered by Vodo-Siosk Baas through meditation.
The current came from an ancient and very powerful sith holocron that had been activated in the depths of the forgotten temple on Sarapin. The four jedi were steadily moving deeper into the maw of darkness. Unaware but inevitably moving closer to their fatal fate...
Great Bray:
The Plains are home to countless numbers of unnerving and unnatural beasts, creatures, and monsters. Great lumbering mammoths plod along in a barely concealed rage while the lithe and savage Plain Tusks hunt with a relentless pursuit. The way of crude life on The Plains is a constant struggle between life and death. The weak are left behind and the strong ravage all before them.
In this land of ferocious cruelty and utter savagery, the apex predators traverse the wide range of the plainland, dominating all below them. The monstrous and brutal Taurocaur crush their prey with muscled limbs and fists. The large and barbarous herds of the Centecaur thunder across the open ground, riding down all who flee from their wrath. The feral Warbull Mammoths trample those who threaten their herd and impale them in tusks and horns. To be the apex predator in this savaged land is to rule supreme.
There is, however, a beast that stands above the rest. A creature of such ancient and cruel savagery that they are considered not but horrid tales to scare the children of the villages. But these rare beasts do exist, and when the Brayherd sounds the horn of the hunt and the many beasts gather for the bloodletting, this monster emerges to be the first in the carnage.
Known as Great Brays by the ritualistic shamans of the many herds that roam The Plains, these creatures are feared and respected by all of the herd. None know where these beasts roam their paths, only that they emerge when only the largest and most savage of Brayherds are formed. They answer to none, not even to Gourocaur the Great Beast, for their are more ancient and primordial than all they look down upon. They do not lead the herd, but live a solitary life, deeming all those below them to not be fit for the bloodletting that inevitably occurs when they emerge.
Standing taller than even the largest of mammoths, these great creatures of cloven hooves are a terror on the battlefield. Possessed with the insatiable bloodlust of the Taurocaur, but expressing the vile cunning of the Plain Tusks, the Great Brays are blessed with both unparalleled martial prowess and a savage intellect.
Thick muscles rippling beneath a hairy hide, the Grear Brays charge across the battlefield with a speed that should not naturally be found in a creature so large. They are anything but natural. Commonly wielding a pair massive axes that can sever the head of even the great fire drakes of the south, the Great Brays cleave through any and all battle lines. They grow sets of immense and crude horns that sprout and twist from their thick skulls, and these horns are no less deadly upon the field of battle.
Almost revered as beast-gods by others of the Brayherd, the Great Brays are all that it means to be part of the herd: insatiable bloodlust, a sense of savage cunning, and pure devotion to vicious carnage.

Godfrey of Angeurs, Agravain the Hippogryph Mount:
There can be found, over the many centuries of the Holy Landās detailed history, individuals who embody the virtues of honor, chivalry and bravery to such a caliber that their names reverberate throughout the passage of time. They are sung about in ballads and glorified over tales spoken around fires. These regal individuals, however, pale in comparison to the kingdoms greatest knight, a man of such courage and virtue that he is seen without peer; Godfrey of Angeurs, the Defender of the Holy Sepulchre and the Roaming Knight.
Born into the royal family of the dukedome of Anguers along the mountainous northern fringes of The Holy Land, Godfrey was head in the line of succession to become baron and duke of that land. However, one fateful day would change his future and the future of the great kingdom. Passing through a rural village with his personal retinue on a royal hunt, the young Godfrey and the villagers were assailed by a foul and cruel necromancer.
Reacting with instinctual bravery and honor, Godfrey stepped between a peasant-born woman and several of the evil undead minions as they attempted to tear her limb from limb. Slashing and hewing with the art of a skilled warrior, Godfrey felled his dark enemies and at last came to the necromancer. In a duel between sword and vile magics, the young knight beheaded his foe and vanquished the undead horde.
Gazing around at the carnage and bloodshed wrought by that evil, Godfrey came to realize what path he must take. He knew that as long he sat upon his fathers throne, the duties of governing and ruling would keep him from his true calling as an honor-bound knight, protecting the weak and upholding the righteous.
And so, relinquishing his right to rule, Godfrey became the Roaming Knight. Throughout the years he has protected the needy from all sorts of cruel and vicious evils. Be it noble or peasant, Godfrey did not care, for all those of good and kind deserve to be protected from evil.
Godfrey of Anguers has shown such courage, bravery and honor on the field of battle that King Leonreante has granted him the title of Defender of the Holy Sepulchre, for the valiant and heroic knight has refused the titles of baron or duke, and will even refuse to join the other knightly military orders. He is truly devoted to uphold the laws of chivalry and honor and defending the weak, a man who all men look up to.
The dukedome of Anguers rests upon the northern territories of The Holy Land, a mountainous and harsh region. Here, the knights breed their rare and intelligent Pegasus mounts and fearlessly tame the ferocious and wild Hippogryphs that make their nests on the mountainsides, raising their young upon the peaks. Hippogryphs are seen to have the front half of an eagle, hawk or some other avian predator and the hind quarters of a horse. They are renown throughout the land as ferocious, loyal, and brave beasts, treasured by knights as battle mounts.
Godfrey ventured forth on to the sheer cliff sides to find an unhatched hippogryph egg. A tough and arduous journey, most knights see death rather than achieve the goal of capturing a hippogryph. He named the hatchling Agravain, and through the years has formed a bond between rider and mount stronger than any other found in the world. Agravain is truly the greatest hippogryph to ride the skies, a fearless and courageous ally in battle, and a loyal and true friend to Godfrey. Many of Godfreyās quests have been completed only by Agravainās loyal battle prowess and fierce nature.
Riding into battle upon his beloved mount, Godfrey of Angeurs wields his sword, De Honneur, and shows the proud heraldry of his family, a stag horn beset by the deepest of greens. One of the greatest warriors and the most fearsome adversary in single combat, Godfrey, the Roaming Knight, has become legend throughout the world and strikes fear into the most stout of his enemies. The Defender of the Holy Sepulchre has come to the aid of his kingdom once more, and seeks to purge all lands of evil once and for all...
This is my official, final, faction standard. Yeah, that's pretty much it.
If you have any of the parts in this figure, aside from head and weapon, in amounts more than 1 of each, please contact me. Also, I'm looking for a shotgun shells, thumpers, and podguns.
Some figures that I whipped up that I quite liked.
Couldn't think of a name for the faction though, open to suggestions ;)

When my dad was building his Shiptember spaceship, I was hanging out with him in his LEGO room and built this entire space faction. I built a Spaceship, a fleet of 6 smaller ships, a Mech Suit and a Space Base.
Disclaimer: Please understand that this is merely a figment of my imagination, set in the Red Faction theme. It has absolutely no bearing on the game (Even though the game really should have included motorbikes).
Bikes are cool and all, but to me, the Trike has a special appeal. Shown here in mid-dramatic-skid-turn.
As usual, feel free to drop by the gallery.

Known as the Independent B, or the "stub", this tank is a variant of the A1E1 Independent used by the United Province of Scotia. This tank was different from the first in that, it was about four feet shorter, had slightly thicker armour, had different engines, a new turret, and the turrets were all placed much farther back.
Because of the smaller design, it was more easily affordable, easier to manufacture, and more maneuverable.
And the back two turrets could fire straight up at aircraft!

[S5 - Raxus Prime - CE]
The next attack was going to be leaded by Commander Irivan. To his surprise, Inquisitor Ereon Tas had come to join the battle. It was known among the Crim Empire that this mysterious Inquisitor stationed in Korriban for a long time. He would only send out his Royal Guards, Assassins and Nightsisters/Cultists on missions.
IRIVAN: Thank you for joining the battle. With our combined strength, we will secure Raxus Prime shortly. But may I ask, what brings you to this garbage pit ?
EREON TAS: The local scavengers are far more organised than Imperial records indicated, someone powerful is behind them.
IRIVAN: Do you mean, a Jedi ?
EREON TAS: Not an ordinary Jedi. I am looking for a Droid.
A teaser for what I have been working on for the modern category of the faction contest over on the LCN. :-)
So far I have 12 minifigs (10 normal troops as seen here and 2 drivers), and 2 vehicles (an AVGP and a G-Wagen).
Do you think that the faces should all be the same (as they are in this picture) or should they be different flesh heads?

made 6 pairs of warriors, each faction a different colour. One was initially meant to be the main knight and the other his squire/sidekick but in the end, I just made both of them as good as I could :)
Hope you guys enjoy them!
I wanted to do a different take on this category so I decided to build my sigfig (the devaronian Farantros) at a large scale. As for part usage, the teeth are technic gears, the eyes are minifigure heads and the pauldron is a regular minifigure cape. This has been one of my most technically challenging builds given the unusual scale and the amount of detail I tried to add (imperial rank bars, textures etc). I would love your feedback!

Over the course of summer, I've been collaborating with TheOneVeyronian m.flickr.com/photos/theoneveyronian/ on this project: a chessboard whose pieces are constraction figures themed after Light vs Dark characters. I took over creating the "Light Faction", with characters based on mythological warriors to a large extent. And here I showcase the third character to be created, and my personal favorite: The Knight. Before embarking on this herculean feat I contemplated making a proper war horse, or some sort of dragon. It ultimately got me thinking about my favorite mythological creature; the gryphon, or griffin or griffon (however you choose to spell it; the first spelling is my favorite). So I revisited an old WIP and over the course of the two following days, this came out. There is a rider mounting the gryphon, though he's nothing special and the fact he's concealed doesn't take away much of the appearance. But do feel free to take a look at the spinny to get a look at the tail and stuff.

Now most of you know that these figures along with others from the last few months have been printed by me, and the word easy should be left in the land field of the amount of hard work and effort it is the create such awesome collectables as these.
The Interval Trooper and Noble Faction will be available later this week as I'm still finishing the printing!
