O exercício foi baseado no primeiro manifesto Futurista, publicado pelo escritor italiano Fillipo Tommaso Marinetti, no “Le Figaro” em fevereiro de 1909 com o slogan Le monts em liberté – liberdade para as palavras.
Marinetti descrevia a tipografia futurista como uma desconstrução da linguagem e do texto.
Utilizei as fontes Futuristas: Boombox, Radar, Radar Space, Future, Galant, Galactic, Eyechart e Nasaliza.
A small corner of the urban hovel that I call home. I found the eye chart lamp at Ikea and had in mind to hang it on my wall and surround it with close up shots of the eyes of my friends.
Unfortunately I couldn't find any volunteers for the eye photos, so there it sits on my windowsill.

For my Typography class I had to design a post-card featuring a body-font. I chose Century Gothic, and I came up with using am eye-test chart as my concept. This is the first project I completed for my program back in early September - so forgive the rough rendering of text as I was still learning.
