After I was done trimming the up the extra bits on the setting triangles for Candy Garden, I had all these leftover little triangles, so I sewed them into squares, set them in fours using scraps of a dot print (from Candy Candy, actually), and then set those as you see above.
After all that work, I'm not sure if I like it. :| Oh well. I was thinking about using this for the center of my round robin this year, but if I don't like it, I won't. Oh well.

Roasted Artichoke Parmesan-poached egg, pancetta, hollandaise. This was really fantastic and surprisingly very filling. The egg was cooked perfectly-almost as perfectly as the artichoke that tasted a bit grilled for only supposedly being roasted. (Not that was a bad thing!) There was actually a little too much pancetta and parmesan I think since those flavors were overwhelming the egg and artichoke a bit. Would definitely recommend, however. (Extra Virgin-NYC)
