Sinds enkele weken rijdt er op zaterdag een extra autotrein voor Pon het land in. In tegenstelling tot de doordeweekse treinen rijdt deze trein 47744 niet naar Amersfoort, maar gaat door naar de Kijfhoek. De loc en wagens worden dan op maandagochtend met trein 61020 naar Amersfoort gebracht.
Met loc 189 086 voorop en daarachter een hoop auto's werd op deze zonnige ochtend met +30 de fotograaf gepasseerd. Met dank aan V.Prins voor de aankondiging op Rolandrail!

In March, the Extra Foods at 2410 22nd Street West in Saskatoon closed for renovations. It will eventually reopen as a No Frills store, owned by Robb Theriault, who is the currently the store manager of the Real Canadian Superstore located at 2901 8th Street East.
Here, most doors of the original entrance have been replaced. And as you can see, the mechanisms of the automatic door openers are strewn all over the lobby/foyer's floor.
The Foxconn Technology Co., which now employs 200K people in Guangdong Province, now plans to open a production center in Chengdu that will employ 10K people. They are getting special help from local government in finding people. According to this notice, If someone is interested in a job with Foxconn in Chengdu, they should report to the (Yulin Beilu) street committee.
They are hiring 7500 women at least 150 cm tall and 2500 men at least 160 cm tall all between the ages of 18 and 35. I/3 of the workers will get technical training, the others are required to have at least one year of factory experience. The plant will be complete and operating within 6 - 9 months. The plant will produce LCD panels for displays. During the training in Shenzhen, pay will be 1400 a month during the trial period climbing to 2300 RMB after the trial period. When the workers move back to Chengdu, pay will be 1640 RMB/month (maybe difference is due to cost of living). According to the notice, of the 10,000 there will be 5000 women working as inspectors and 5000 men working as assemblers (this contradicts the hiring 7500 women and 2500 men). Working hours 5 days week, 8 hours a day. Extra shifts as permitted by Chinese labor law. The women inspectors need to have good normal eyesight without glasses (视力1.0 or better).
